“Executive salaries at Chicago 2016 reached a high of $300,000 a year, paid to Chief Operating Officer David Bolger. The group’s president, Lori Healey, was among three staffers earning $250,000 a year.”

“Chicago 2016 said it spent $48.3 million in pursuit of the bid and donated $13 million to World Sports Chicago, a new organization intended as a legacy of the quest for the Games. World Sports Chicago is supposed to help Chicago-area youth find Olympic and Paralympic sports near their homes.”

Does this mean “World Sports Chicago” is part of Acorn ?

I talked to several Chicagoans over the weekend who are very relieved that the Olympics won’t be held in their city.

Isn’t there a connection between Gibbs and this firm?

have you ever moved or closed an office, had the leased furniture and/or computers picked up, arranged for discontinuation of utilities and other services, run the final payroll, etc. etc. etc.? did you expect that they would simply not show up the next day? just some things to ponder before judging too harshly, and rhetorical questions.

"I’m still wondering how many ACORN SEIU types were involved. I suspect the SEIU could have made quite a haul off the olympics. I wouldn’t be surprised if ACORN hoped to squeeze a few million out for themselves."

I guess the gig was (1) Obama/Daley insiders sell the slums they own for a huge profit (2) favored contractors and unions 'gentrify' the slums with Olympic Village and somesuch and (3) ACORN types get big bucks to assist with the poor 'displaced' by the construction. It really was a big loss for them. In the billions. *snicker*

All the usual Obama and democrat organizations had their hands in the Chicago Olympics profit jar.

Including Obama financial backers:

Penny Pritzker, who is on the BOD of Hyatt hotels and family owns the business. She was put on the chair of the Chicago olympics village developer group. Magically, Hyatt hotels group would have priority agreements to house all the olympic labor leading up to and during the games.

Valerie Jarrett (dig into her past and you will not be shocked she’s soo connected with the Obamas), who had personally bought up large parcels of land and old buildings and suprise!, suprise!, they end up being where olympic facilities were to be built.

Think the olympics committee knew the Chicago games would be more corrupt than even the Russian winter games in 2014.

Putin and his Kremlin billionaire club seized all the land around Sochi right after they were awarded the games. Land that farmers owned and worked there for generations. And when I said seized, I mean it. They were all goon squaded off their property and not given anything in return.

All so they could personally own the entire project and not have to pay a single ruble for the property. Basically, it will end up the most high end ski resort in Russia after the games. And they’ll own it all.

So basically the majority of the money spent developing the games would go right back into their pockets. The same game plan the Obamas and his buddies Penny and Valerie had.

Citing other salaries among nonprofit employers, Chicago 2016 said in its report that its pay packages were reasonable.

A quarter of a million dollars is reasonable salaries for nonprofit? There need to be a congressional hearing into this matter.

...is expected to lay off most of its 57 paid staffers by the end of October.

Jeepers, that's one for each state.....

Will the t-shirts and sweatshirts hit the dollar stores or go right to rags?
