WASHINGTON – The top Senate Democrat says lawmakers of both parties assured President Barack Obama on Tuesday that they will rally behind whatever decision he makes on Afghanistan.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that both Democrats and Republicans told the president, basically, "Whatever decision you make, we'll support it."

The comment came after Senate and House leaders of both parties met with Obama at the White House to discuss his war review.

Top Senate Republican Mitch McConnell put it differently. In his words: "I think Republicans will be able to make the decisions for themselves."

I certainly don’t think that the ‘supposed’ agreement meant “Custering” our men and women in Afghanistan.

So.....if he decides not to give the support our troops need.....they will support him? In other words, leave out troops our to hang? If that’s the case, bring them home.

It sounds to me like Harry Reid was trying to stiffen Obama’s spine. Rot’s o’ Ruck there, Mr Jellyfish cant make this decision all by himself he is scared spitless.

This guy is a joke and the Afghani’s and Iranians and all the rest are laughing at him.

You’ve got to be kidding me! The GOP leadership is agreeing to a policy or plan even before they know what it is? What idiot would agree to such a thing? If the GOP leadership agrees to a policy that leaves our military personnel in harms way with no hope of success, I’ll support anyone that runs against them, even Ron Paul.

That’s too bad, because I don’t trust President Obama to make the right decision.

Q:
You want I should make a decision on Afghanistan and make certain to not put our guys in the line of fire (calling Rosa Brooks)?

A:
Pass 0bamacare.

Ah, yes. The line from “The Godfather” comes to mind:
You disrespect me and now you want me to do you a favor?

This means Obama now owns Afghanistan policy.

He campaigned that this was a war of necessity, the “right” war. He said he would go hard after Al Qaeda and Osama. He said he would even invade Pakistan if necessary.

It’s time for Mr. Obama to back up his promises.

Either give our troops the support they need or bring them home and replace them with politicians.

"Whatever decision you make, we'll support it."

"OK, then, how about a complete surrender and war crimes trials for everybody in theater?"

"Sure, Boss. If you think that's what's right we'll be right behind you."

Somebody's seriously delusional.

Republicans better call Reid out on this quickly, or the media and sheeple will take his word on it.

Democrats lie and Rebublicans are their enablers!
