OH Supreme Court rules in John Husted's favor
Montgomery County GOP | 10/7/09 | LS

Posted on 10/07/2009 5:56:34 AM PDT by LS

At last night's central committee meeting, John Husted announced that the OH Supreme Court, by a 7-0 vote, had declared his residency in Kettering valid and legal, ending all Dem attempts to keep him from running for SoS. He also said he had been approached by high-level Dems with a deal to let him run unopposed for Treasurer, but of course the goal is to get Jennifer Brunner out.

In my opinion Jennifer Brunner needs to go to jail. At the very least she should be investigated for assisting in voter fraud. Before the presidential election Brunner disabled the link to the DMV so that voters identifications could not be checked. She did this on her own. She had no REAL explanation. I don’t know what kind of deal she must have made with “the powers that be”, but I find it interesting how she actually believes she can win any campaign with so much water under her bridge. She must have been promised a few extra voters of her own.

Here is an exerpt from an article regarding some of Brunners shenanigans from The Cleveland Plain Dealer:

A federal court has ruled that an Ohio county must allow same-day voting and registration

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio county must allow new voters to register and cast an absentee ballot on the same day during a weeklong period that begins Tuesday, a federal judge ruled Monday.

U.S. District Judge James Gwin in Cleveland issued a temporary restraining order forcing Madison County to follow Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner’s instructions.

… Ohio law requires voters to be registered for at least 30 days before they cast an absentee ballot. Republicans have said Ohio law doesn’t allow same-day registration and voting, and have accused Brunner, a Democrat, of reading a partisan interpretation into law to benefit her own party.

No other challenges to it? The SOS are in a position to throw an election—see WA state. Bush refused to get involved according to the Evergreen Foundation! The voters will have to elect better people by putting in candidates who have some spine and then back the candidate. The voter fraud will be there in the cities—until the rolls are checked. The “same day” is a ruse to bus in from other states.

Wasn’t Brunner involved in Joe the Plumber leaks of government information?

While John has been accused of not pushing tax cuts hard enough, I don’t think ANYONE here thinks he is not a bare-knuckle brawler when it comes to this stuff. In his speech last night, he sternly vowed to eliminate junk like registering people who sleep on park benches; and if Mike DeWine (I know, I know) gets AG, I think there would be an aggressive move to slam ACORN. I didn’t hear any “get along with the Dems” last night.

Precisely! There is so much work to be done so that no other elections can be stolen. Problem is, the whole of Ohio government is democratic and very corrupt at all levels. That is precisely why, after all of the things Brunner has done, she still believes she has a chance.

That doesn’t make sense. Brunner isn’t running for reelection as SOS, she’s running for governor, so she’s out no matter what Husted does.

The idea was that Husted would not have a Dem opponent for Treas., and if that was the case, Mandel would be forced to bow out.

Right. What I meant was that the goal was to get the SoS office in the hands of a Republican for redistricting.

After the 2000 presidential election and the media in the pockets of the Marxist, there isn’t any doubt why W refused to get involved.

THE PEOPLE needed to get involved. The government (local, state and Federal) are “WE THE PEOPLE”.

When are people going to stop blaming W and look in the mirror? Another pass the buck and blame others episode continues...

So many names, so many offices. Husted kept talking about Brunner so much the other night I forgot he wasn’t running against her.

The Evergreen Freedom Foundation wasn't interested enough in the election to get rid of Gregoire. They had all the information they needed to expose major corruption by her and her supporters, but refused to expose it because it would have also ensnared some of their buddies in the GOP and on the Washington Supreme Court. Rossi also had the very same information during both of his campaigns, so one has to question just how interested he was in ridding Olympia of corruption.
