People started lining up around midnight, but the real chaos broke out near the front entrance that leads to the ballroom.

Thousands of people jammed into too tight of a space. There were reports of fights and people passing out in the crowd.

You know, this makes me incredibly sad and angry. That is not free money...it is mine and yours and every taxpayers dollar.

Yet, as sad as this is, I still look at lines like this

"There was some confusion at the sites after word spread that checks for $3,000 were being given away. That was not the case. Only applications were handed out. In fact, because of the heavy demand, the city halls had to stop handing out applications"

and I want yell HA HA at the top of my voice.

I hope this pisses off those lazy SOBs in Detroit and Mr. Hope and Change doesn't look so good anymore.

They’re often not so good with their own money - Folks irked by Obama coins that are simply stickers placed on 50-cent pieces:

Rush read something from the Weekly Standard or American Thinker and said this is exactly Obama’s plan. See Zimbabwe, South Africa etc.

This is the Democrat Party. They gave us Obama.

Reminds me of the article I posted way back in 2007.........

Computer Glitch Leads To Brawl At Wauwatosa Kmart (FREE MONEY CREDIT CARDS)

A melee at a Kmart store in Wauwatosa Saturday morning was started by a computer glitch.

The store was running a promotion in which it would give away $10 to anyone applying for its credit card, but the computer glitch led to everyone’s application being granted — bestowing up to $4,000 in instant credit to anyone who applied even if they shouldn’t have qualified.

Once word started to spread about the so-called “free money” Saturday, witnesses said things got pretty nuts inside the Wauwatosa store.

“They were having a big fight. Two ladies was jumping a lady over credit cards,” witness Sylvester Wilson said.

Nearly a dozen Wauwatosa squad cars responded to the call just before 11 a.m. Saturday for what was called a large fight in progress.

“It was a nice brawl. It came from inside to outside. If you go up there, you’ll see hair, earrings, all pulled out on the ground,” Wilson said.

What started as a fight between two women in the crowded store evolved when several men intervened.

A store employee got punched in the nose and crashed through a glass display case. He was treated for a broken nose and various cuts.

Two suspects, a 22-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, were arrested, accused of battery.

Meantime, Kmart is still trying to clear up the credit card mess.

Two employees confirmed for police that anyone who applied was being given instant credit — from $850 up to $4,000. They also told police that people started calling other people to the store for so-called free money. The store ran out of credit applications.

One witness told police someone went to another Kmart, got some applications there and was selling them in the Wauwatosa Kmart parking lot for $20 apiece

The requirements to participate:
Applicants must be homeless or at risk of homelessness
Assistance is temporary
Not for chronically homeless
Must be able to resume responsibility after assistance ends
No payments are made directly to individuals
No mortgage assistance via this program

So, you have to homeless, but not chronically.
And after we have given you this money, don't ask for more
And we aren't giving any money out directly to you
And we aren't giving any money to your bank to save your mortgage

Hm. I guess the money could go to Community Organizers?

Rush read something from the Weekly Standard or American Thinker and said this is exactly Obama’s plan. See Zimbabwe, South Africa etc.

He also played a clip of a local interview with one of the assistance seekers leeches. The reporter asked her where the money was coming from and she answered the state or maybe the city. He asked her where the city got the money and she answered (with adoration) "Obama". He asked her where Obama got the money. She had no idea.

But you could hear the glee and greed in her voice. Hope she wasn't missing The Price is Right in order to stand out for her hand out.

See my tagline.

I came and stood on line all this time, and all I got was a lousy application!!!

“Looked like a Katrina redux”

More like Zimbabwe redux. This is what Democrats want our country to by like, thugs fighting over our money which has been confiscated and handed out by “compassionate” politicians.
