Rush reported that today on Fox they had an Infectious Disease Doctor who said he would NOT vacinate his children.
He was adamant that it was not tested enough and there were serious questions that these vacinations cause autism in some children.
It would turn out that husband, with his brain infection, owes his life to a very good, dedicated ID doc. My ears perked up at hearing this was an ID fellow.
I mentioned on this thread the other day that my daughter is adamant that she won’t get a vacine for her child. I didn’t mention that HER sister, my stepdaughter, had a child who was just fine up until the child got some kind of vacine and this was when she turned up autistic.
I’d been pooh-poohing this claim by daughter and stepdaughter that vacine caused the autism but now, after hearing this from an ID doc...well. The ID doc also said NOT for those who’ve had neurological issues, which is my husband what with five brain leisions and seizures.
I just don’t know what to do. Husband did have a regular flu shot last year, approved by his lung doc, and no problems.
For now I’m just keeping ears open, eyes wide and will consider all the options.
The threat to our lives is not swine flu, but the traitors in the White House.

Hellsbells, I had pneumonia, a broken ankle, kidney stones and was toxemic. I made it through both pregnancies with happy healthy kids.
If a woman is healthy and pregnant, she doesn’t have a disease, she’s just pregnant for heavens sake. Women have been pregnant for all eternity.
These days there are very few people who I trust, very few, and some doctors and most politicians are not high on the list!

Respiratory Synctial Virus. Not sure if I am spelling the S part completely correctly. This can range from very mild (like my daughter had, thankfully) to extremely severe. Most of these kids develop asthma, which she has not so far, but virtually every flu she gets goes to her lungs and at the least she needs albuterol inhalers. She has had pneumonia 4 times and she is only 6. She is considered a high risk category because of this. Our whole family would qualify for the shots for her benefit.
But.....anyone else notice Glenn is showing a wee bit of favoritism in his questioning? I do. :) Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part. So much for open mind.
