Just 39% of Americans now say the United States needs stricter gun control, as the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to review the constitutionality of state and local anti-gun laws. Is the money dumped into the education system that is making people understand or is it just a swing in thought?
Must be the latter...

I have a friend who is very anti-guns. She lives with her useless adult son, who is afraid of guns, in a not-so-nice neighborhood.
Last week, there was some kind of an argument going on a few houses away. There was shooting and a bullet went through her living room window and lodged in a door frame. By the way, she was in the room at the time.
I’ve been telling her to get a gun, but she refuses. She thinks that if she only talks nice to these people, all will be well. She also wrote a letter to the police chief complaining about the shooting and went around the neighborhood collecting signatures. Now the thugs know who complained.
I’m afraid for her safety. She and her son are just sitting ducks.

Many if not most shooters find they have gun stricter control using both hands, but I'm an "old school" guy and get stricter gun control using only my right hand.

The amazing thing is that I've been looking through some "gun" threads in DemocraticUnderground, and there actually seems to be more pro-gun sentiment than anti-gun. For example,
this thread regarding that silly Philadelphia study that came out recently.
