You heard about the Tea Party Express a month or two ago as these limited-government patriots toured across the United States, ending up in Washington D.C. for a huge historic protest in our nation’s capital.

The first cross-country tour was such a success,  they are doing it again.  Starting October 25, the Tea Party Express will party in San Diego, California and end on November 11 in Jacksonville, Florida.

On November 2, the Tea Party Express will be stopping in Rapid City to rock the Black Hills!

Citizens for Liberty,  the Rapid City area Tea Party group, has already been in close contact with the Tea Party Express and has confirmed the event will be held on November 2 at 2:30 pm Mountain time at the Event Center on the Central States Fairgrounds.

The program has not yet been made available, but energetic entertainers such as Lloyd Marcus and many others were on the last tour. Marcus has come up with exciting anthems for the first two big national Tea Party events, the Tax Day Tea Party and the Independence Day Tea Party.

Already Citizens for Liberty has heard from people as far away as Sioux Falls who are eager to drive the 350 miles to attend the Tea Party Express in Rapid City.  This is shaping up to be a huge regional event, since the next nearest stops on the tour are Bozeman, Montana (515 miles away) and Cheyenne, Wyoming (307 miles away).

Based on what other Tea Party Express events have been like (such as the one in Bloomington, Indiana covered by Dr. Theo), this is sure to be a fantastic event.

So whether you’re from Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Pierre, Gillette, Bismark, Omaha, Minneapolis or where ever, start making your plans to join us in Rapid City on November 2 to take a stand for your country and your Constitution!

It’s a long drive from this other end of the state. Nearly 400 miles I think.

Wita, up here, we’ve had about 13/14 inches of snow already. I really thought I was mis-measuring, but my neighbors had the same. Doesn’t winter start in December?

As the crow flies, you can’t be more than 15 miles in a straight line from my house. Must be that 1500 feet of elevation change, or maybe the Mt Rushmore effect, for you to get all that snow, or maybe Bare Country. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.

It is nine miles from my place to the New Forest Service building on the hill before dropping down to Reptile Gardens. From the forest service to your place in a straght line can’t be more than six miles.

PS, You are absolutely right, winter starts in DECEMBER, I have always said, “if you make it through Dec, and Jan, you have made it through the worst of winter. Where is global warming when we really need it?
