House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) held a hearing this morning to certify that H.R. 3200 -- the main House Obamacare bill which was the subject of all the town hall rage in August -- has met all requirements to pass as a “budget reconciliation” measure.
Under reconciliation, the bill can be passed by a simple majority vote in the Senate -- just 51 votes -- and will be given preferential treatment on the House floor as well. The Dems have apparently invoked the “nuclear option” to shut out Republicans and ensure the bill is passed before the end of the year. (see link for more....)

Civil War/Revolution between the right and left in this country has been in the cards since the late 1960s. In 2005 I wrote this on my blog after a quick study of the hate speech coming from Leftist movies, books and blogs:
“The end result to this decades long verbal and written assault by the American Left ruling class can only end in violence, since the decision of the ballot box by a majority of their fellow countrymen is the rejection of the largely unstated Leftist dogma of socialism and atheism in favor of constitutionalism and Christianity. The Left worships the State; The Right worships God. There can be no compromise.
It is a fact of history that no ruling class has went quietly into the night. When in 1860 with the election of Lincoln as President, the South realized that the Southern domination of the Union was fast coming to an end and that their only recourse was separation from the Union and violence if that separation were opposed.
The contemporary situation runs on parallel tracks: a decades long increasingly bitter public debate that has been marked by numerous attempts at compromise and peaceful transfer of power on the part of a rising new ideology and renaissance of faith, the political ideology of capitalism combined with the moral force of Christianity, has meet a roadblock in the form of an atheistic and socialistic political, academic and governmental establishment.

How much worse is the collective guilt as a nation for the sin of abortion? At least the slave was granted life and could by his efforts hope to free himself from his condition, but the dead have no recourse. Thus the sin of abortion that is nowhere listed as a civil rights of Americans in the U.S. Constitution and is a sin against law and God.

Jefferson could be speaking today about the issue of abortion which has claimed the lives over 30 million innocent Americans.
Indeed all Americans should tremble for the wrath of God in the form of civil war is terrible justice. Please mark the words of Shakespeare concerning an ancient Roman civil war that stands only a few years in the future for America. It will be a civil war without the benefit large standing armies fighting on battlefield but a war fought in neighborhoods, towns, villages, countryside and cities against a ruthless domestic enemy who will fight by means of bombings, assassinations and arson and all the other black arts of terrorism with the danger of a dictatorship of the Left or the Right as the outcome of conflict.
Domestic fury and fierce civil strife
Shall cumber all the parts of Italy;
Blood and destruction shall be so in use
And dreadful objects so familiar
That mothers shall but smile when they behold
Their infants quarter’d with the hands of war;

Yes, Indeed! This is the way American Patriots will stand against the Imperial Federal Government when the “R Day” comes - Out in the open and in disciplined ranks with uniforms of some type and fighting under the law of war.

Those cult followers are the 51% of the country that do not pay income taxes and vote for more freebies. Otherwise known as the proletariat. The leftists use their (proletariat's) envy and covetousness to cement power by promising them ever more freebies....like "affordable" health insurance and "affordable" college education.
That hate has eventually got to erupt.
It seems that historically it has where the proletariat have been stirred to violence, so as to take from the bourgeois what they think is their due. I don't recall it failing anywhere it has been orchestrated by the left, do you? I'm not very confident the slide can be stopped here, it is too far along and deeply entrenched over a couple of generations now. I fear it may take a huge coordinated revolt and push back by all taxpaying individuals and businesses, but government has become too intertwined with everyday life for everyone to quit doing business with it. Besides, more than a few of those individuals and businesses fancy themselves the elite masters of the coming age of slavery.
I personally am in the unenviable position of being caught between a marriage of the ruling class and the ever expanding dependent class. How to divorce the two is the $64,000 question. Abort the ruling class is looking like a viable option.
Only as long as the tax slaves keep sending in their "donations." Once the slaves realize they're enslaved, things will change. The Socialists will run out of other peoples money. That's when the chaos will really begin.
They can't survive without our money, but we can survive just fine without theirs.

What was their reason again? Oh yeah — because then someone else could use it in the future after setting such a bad precedent. You know, if the GOP shows restraint, then the Democrats would honor that same comity when the day comes that they are in control again.
So now we didn't get the judges confirmed, and the Dems are using the “nuclear option” at the first sign of opposition!
