He just said to his parents on Wolf Blitzer “You guys said we did it for a show.” Wolf didn’t seem to notice. Video at the link.

wife swap reality show??

Not that kind of wife swap. (where the minds of some people go)

Take the wife of one family, have her live with another family by their rukes for a week, Week 2, she makes the family live by her rules.

Most interesting when the swap is arranged between a traditional family and a moonbat family

Guess which the Heene family was?

Probably not enough intrinsic value to trade them in for a fresh full box.

The new “Science and Tech Czars” or the new “Fight the Smears” (truth) Czar. Maybe Barack will invite them for some koolaid in the White HOuse?

Wasn't BamaKennedy doing his own 'use' the kid for pumping up his political balloon.... I have not yet checked the 'time' frame to see how closely these things crossed in real time... but didn't 'this show' out of Colorado preempt the BamaKennedy 'Kat' show in New Orleans?

"Wasn’t Blister with Bernard Shaw in the hotel room in Baghdad the night the bombing started and they were broadcasting live. I think the cameraman was the only one not under the bed crying like a baby..."

Yes - "Howitzer Explosion Guy" hid under the table. I wish I could remember who coined the term, (SNL?) but that's what we've called him ever since.

I think you’re right to caution some prudence here. Who knows what the kid meant?

I just saw Blitzer’s follow up.

The father is one of the biggest and worst liars on the planet. He’s obviously lying.

Somewhere I read where the two older boys were up on their roof video taping the ballon flying away and told a neighbor their kid brother was on it.

I can almost see the older brothers daring their kid brother to untie it so they can film it, and the kid brother afterwards is afraid of what the old man will do to him so he hides in the attic so as not to get caught.

Although the dad almost sounds loony enough to be behind the entire thing too.

Absolute pub stunt.

I have to assume the local po-po are following up and interviewing the family and neighbors, etc, regardless of their public statements. If not, total direlection of duty.

This family of odd-jobs should be on the hook for a huge public services bill since I, as a mere uninvolved citizen, smell a huge festering rat here.

Egregious......

Wolfie asked the kid why he didn’t answer his parents calls from the bedroom and he said “we did it for the show”. This combined with the Dad’s befuddled attempt at explaining it away in the follow-up interview, long pause while he looks at his wife, hoping she comes up with something good, and that they appeared on “wife swap”, and his invention of the Jetson’s hover car makes me feel they are Super Guilty (a rarely used technical law term).

The Late John Holliman, Bernard Shaw and Peter Arnett were the ones in the Baghdad hotel.

It felt like a hoax to me....these people love the limelight. I just hope they have to pay the bill for the search and rescue. That would be a good example for anyone else who wants to hoax on the taxpayers money.

on post 54 there is a follow-up video. I think it may have been a publicity stunt. Just watch the video, you will realize that something smells.

this video interview was done after “wolf’s”? after the kid spilled the beans or before?

IMHO, that invention was junk.

This video was the press conference right after he was found. It was before the CNN interview.
