I don’t understand how anyone who’s been pregnant and had the baby can ever support anyone’s “right” to an abortion. I was always against abortion, but after getting pregnant the first time and reading all about what develops and when, I was even more shocked that anyone in this day and age could pretend that there’s not a human life in there pretty much from the first few weeks. I’m almost 17 weeks with my second right now. I’ve felt it moving for a week and a half.

There is a growing segment of the pro-abortion movement that readily admits this is murder, but is more than okay with that. I suspect the Gen-Y and/or millenials have been so infected with this particular disease of inhumanity, that we are literally going to re-define anyone’s right to live, at any stage.

I wonder if her baby is picking up any of the vibes from what she is doing. Baby’s minds and personalities start to develop in the womb, and it’s been suggested that happy mothers, in fact even mothers who listen to Mozart, are more likely to have contented babies.

What kind of vibes would a baby pick up from a mother who was busy killing babies, I wonder? Not the baby’s fault, but it’s really sick.

I agree so completely. After 5 years of marriage my daughter finally became pregnant via in-vitro fertilization. She (and husband) were excited and expectant in more ways than one. She quit her occasional cigarette, drank no alcohol, took prenatal supplements, and followed doctors’ instructions to the letter. Baby furniture, supplies, and clothing were purchased. Names were chosen. Baby books read. All went well for the first 3-1/2 months. Ultra sound revealed a strong heartbeat. At 4 months she and husband went in for tests to determine sex of the baby (at no time would my daughter refer to him/her as the fetus). Ultra sound indicated no heartbeat. The baby had died in the womb. Daughter had to undergo labor with the foreknowledge that she would deliver a dead baby. The baby was a girl. Post mortem tests revealed her to be perfectly formed and developed for 4 months. The enormous grief (especially for my daughter) was exactly the same as it would be for the loss of any loved one. Daughter is recovering and will try again. How healthy babies (fetuses if one insists) can be blithely dispatched by a pregnant doctor is beyond my ken.

Babies are the new slaves. They are given no rights as humans and are referenced as euphemisms like “fetus” or “just some cells”. Sad, really, especially since many societies have made the moral decision that slavery is wrong. The same will happen with abortion and we, as a society, will look back and realize how sick we were for letting it continue.

Why must elitists complicate simple right and wrong issues by trying to intellectualize the evil into a place of acceptance?
Is this woman actually suggesting that we all proclaim the horrors of violence against humanity in the form of abortion so that we can teach folks to accept it?
