This is way out for this kind of talk. But I would vote for Ron Paul right about now. I used to think he was a kook, but he’s the ONLY one that called this financial mess early on and he is the ONLY small government conservative out there anymore with a record to back it up. I ran across this video when I got back from Iraq and if I had seen this before, he would have had my vote.

I feel your frustration...we are all drowning waiting for the life boat to come and save us from this awful fate of 8 years with O...but I fear we will lose because..there will be a divide among Repubs...the ultra Conservatives vs the Moderates....never the two shall meet...so bing....Dems get the ride ...UNLESS....there is a champion..that rides in on a message of Damn all of you! and you will see that she wrote an Op-Ed for the National Review Online YESTERDAY. She wrote an op ed in the Washington Post about Cap and Trade in August. she has been speaking out about issues on her facebook page.
I think she is doing the best she can. the election is over 3 years away.

This survey is drivel. One reason Romney will always be useless as a candidate is because he doesn't even rate an asterisk below the Mason Dixon Line.
There are a handful of Republican candidates that I find with attractive words and actions. The only one able to move crowds, really move them, is Sarah Palin.
Now I wouldn't wish her lot on my worst enemy. She may be coming into her focal point in history when her country needs her.
It’s a perfectly credible survey, I think. As for Huckabee’s standing, he has a 1 hour long weekly tv show on Fox News, an advantage that neither Romney or Palin don’t have.

For your information, just today, Sarah Plain wrote an article in National Review precisely in Oil and Energy. It's been posted right here on FR by several posters. All you had to do was do s search before your made your patently untrue post. Please she has a written weighty article in the most prestigious and now largest circulation daily newspaper in this country, the Wall Street Journal, which was the most read article in the WSJ site that day.

I think the poll is probably accurate-Rasmussen is one of the most trustworthy organizations.
The results are sickening though. I’m afraid I can’t stomach Huckabee as our nominee, and I have serious reservations about Romney as well. The dilemma is that Sarah is the only true conservative, but I fear she has been so severely damaged that it will be hard to recover.
I know Rush says we need to stay away from the 3rd party movement-and he may be right as far as the Senate and Congress is concerned, but I think maybe Sarah has enough support to win as a third party candidate.
In a 3 way race, 40% of the vote can get you into the White House, and that is where her favorables are right now. Maybe this is our best chance.
I don't know anything about Patraeus' politics but I do about Mitt's and I would vote for a name picked at random from the phone book before I'd vote for him.

How can you go wrong voting for a man endorsed by Cindy Sheehan.
Time is slipping away from Palin. It’s becoming clear she won’t be able to undue the damage from the assault she endured. I suspect her future is not so much as a candidate, but more along the lines of kingmaker.
