Mafioso, Goon Squad, Communist, Nazi, Jihadi, Democrat politics as usual--whatever you want to call the thuggish tactics of the Obama administration, the very public threats they are making to the news media to not follow the lead of Fox News in questioning Obama's policies and personnel is a direct threat to the freedoms guaranteed in the First Amendment.
This morning on the Sunday talk shows, speaking on behalf of President Barack Obama, senior Obama advisers David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel carried on the war initiated by White House communictions director Anita Dunn last week on CNN.
Axelrod appeared on ABC News' This Week, telling George Stephanopoulos:
"A lot of their news programming, it's really not news, it's pushing a point of view. And the bigger thing is that other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way, and we’re not going to treat them that way."
Chief of Staff Emanuel told John King on CNN's State of the Union that the president himself does not view Fox as a legitimate news network:
...The way the President looks at it, we look at it, it's not a news organization so much as it has a perspective. And that's a different take. And more importantly, is not have the CNNs and the others in the world basically be led and following Fox, as if that, what they’re trying to do is a legitimate news organization..."
Emanuel then went on to deny that the White House is focused on Fox to the detriment of other issues facing Obama:
"I mean the concentration of the White House isn’t about what Fox is doing. It’s a concentration about what does it take to make sure the economy’s moving, creating jobs, helping the economy grow, making sure that we responsibly withdraw from Iraq, making sure the decisions we make on Afghanistan..."
But to accomplish his goals, Obama and his Chicago goons have decided they need to clear the field, in this case Fox News, like they have done throughout their ascendency to power.
Once again, Obama froze out Fox News' Sunday program today with Emanuel appearing on CBS' Face the Nation and CNN, Axelrod on ABC and close aide Valerie Jarrett fielding softballs from David Gregory on NBC's Meet the Press. Former Democratic National Committee chairman Terry McAuliffe appeared on Fox, saying he was briefed by the White House beforehand.
The message is clear: Obey Obama or lose access, get attacked and be culled from the herd. Unspoken, but well understood, is that the Obama administration has the regulatory and investigatory power to destroy those in the news media who get in their way.
Lately I have seen a lot of threads with ‘porn’ at the end of them. All different topics too and I’m clueless about why they are using the word ‘porn’. Do you know anything about it?
I don’t much approve of it because casual browsers here would wonder what kind of site it is, lol.

1) Why wouuuld Fox News want "access?" Their ratinngs are at an all time high compared to the other MSM News. 2) Since when does Obama have the power to destroy those in the news media who get in their way? They have tried it reoeatedly with El Rushbo, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity, to no avail. They just increased their ratings by attacking them!And we do have something called th 1st amendment.
I mean this whole Obaa strategy is prediated on the fact that a news organization would want access....to what...the same talking points shared by all the MSM? Its not news, its propaganda, and the US public knows that....which is why Fox News is rated so highly compared to the other news hours! LOL.

Thank you for the flattering post. Since I believe this thread has moved on but I have a question, would you mind if I address my question to you?
I was lost in thought while making a cup of tea, musing on how clowns can actually destroy a country. First I thought - well the framers of the constitution never thought that clowns would be such a threat - they envisioned dynastic tyrants, monarchs. But many monarchs were clowns so I began to think this isn’t the reason. And then I began to wonder if the framers of the constitution never envisioned a day in which so many weak, pliant, gullible people would occupy congres. That perhaps the framers did foresee the threat that clowns pose and they did install a ‘check’ on such clowns but they never believed the American people would populate the congress with a critical mass of persons unwilling to prevent a clown coup. Or? HOW has this come to pass that the reins can be given to such buffoonish people and all we can do,per the constitution at present, is call frantically from the sidelines “STOP!” (until they switched town halls to phone-in affairs so they can’t hear the ‘stop’ so clearly).

Axelrod Jumps on Anti-Fox News Bandwagon: ‘They’re Not Really a News Station’
Axelrod told the ABC host it wasn’t just their commentators, like Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity, but also their regular news programming. He suggested ABC and other news organization shouldn’t take Fox News seriously.
“The only argument that Anita was making is that they’re not really a news station, if you watch even it’s not just their commentators, but a lot of their news programming. It’s really not news, it’s pushing a point of view and the bigger thing is that other news organizations like yours, ought not to treat them that way. And we’re not going to treat them that way. We’re going to appear on their shows and participate, but understanding that they represent a point of view.”

What I think we are seeing now that is different is a President who does NOT love or like this country. Some of the Dems in Congress probably agree with him, though he has more ties to our enemies than any of them combined. Some of them are just in it for their own monetary gain and some are just in it for the chicks (or Dudes).
Perhaps you are right - the framers may not have anticipated an American president who considered his own country evil and worthless, not worth protecting and certainly not worth serving. And so, our COTUS (Clown Of The United States) strives to make this country, and all who love her, his servants.
