CHICAGO (AP) - Sarah Palin is going to sit down with Oprah Winfrey.
Harpo Productions announced Tuesday that the former governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential candidate will appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on Monday, Nov. 16.

This one amazes me.....WHY would Sarah not go on FOX first instead...its not like Fox is a ‘small” TV venue.
So is it about the money and fame? Is she going to ask Oprah why she didn’t have her on when she was running for VP? doubt it. Maybe I am just getting cynical about all the pols.

I think the publishers are just in standard operating mode, doing what they usually do when book goes to press, try to get it on Oprah for a guaranteed sales boost.

Thunder thighs Oprah will not be kind to Sarah. The crazy thing is no political figure on the right can win....if you take an exclusive interview with FOX, you are obviously lying and a wacky right wing terrorist....if you take an interview with an alphabet station, you are going to get ambushed...

Anyone interested in the Presidency had better be able to bring a solid A game and be able to handle herself/himself in the lion’s den.
Sarah needs to be sure of her convictions, and be able to clearly, and effectively articulate them, no matter what the venue.
Oprah refused to have Palin on because Oprah was “backing her candidate”. Oprah doesn’t care for Palin, and the edits won’t be kind.
Does Mrs. Palin have no other way to promote her book? Is Mrs. Palin taking the Gingrich path of doing what’s best for self promotion, regardless of cost?
