I thought it a bit odd that some are claiming all sorts of SSNs and addresses for Obama. So I resurrected an old CD based Phone Directory which supposedly has 250 million entries across the US and Canada compiled in 1997. I searched for all Obamas and all Soetoros. I thought also to search for Dunhams too but there were too many. There were even too many Stanley Dunhams. The list below includes the one that might be Obama's mother. (There were no Stanley Ann Dunhams.)
I'm not sure what this means but I provide the list below in the event that it might provide useful in some way to other researchers.

Stanley died in 1995. You should not be seeing her listing in 1997.

It looks like for the actual Barack and Michelle listings, there are just a home and office. Stanley Dunham seems like it would be a more common name so I’m surprised you only get one result.

Detective work on Reverse Directory: I would LOVE to see what other people used the “Obama Barack Lawyer” phone number of 312-751-1170.
I would also like to see who else used the address of 14 W Erie St, Chicago, IL 60610-3811.
I wonder if Obama, like his ACORN associates, has lots of other dubious people at the same address and at the same phone numbers.
To this day, the State Run Media has kept the true nature of Obama a colossal secret. And Fox can only do so much questioning.

Two years difference on a phone book wouldn’t surprise me if she was still listed. Even in the 90’s they were out of date before they were finished printing. The CD versions back then were basically database dumps relying on the local companies to provide the information and not really checked for accuracy. For a long time my local white pages paper version had a listing for me for a phone and address that I hadn’t had in over 5 years, so any CD clearing house versions in that time period also had that incorrect info.
Just for fun...
The CDs were published in 1997. The information I collected was also tagged with a directory date for each number ranging from 10/95 to 9/96. The entry for Dunham comes from a directory published in 7/96. My own experience is that sometimes directory information survives the person it refers to for quite a while.

Very Interesting that there would be a Stanley Dunham in Washington since odumbo’s mother lived there 3 weeks after he was born.
I am not sure of the city but Auburn is a Seattle suburb and she enrolled at UW and moved there 3 weeks after odumbo was born.

My mother had a phone listing for ten years after she died. (Complicated reason but it happens.)
I have my Grandfathers phone nuumber and he died in 1954. People still think he needs his house resided.

That would be Vinod Gupta and InfoUSA. I’ve always believed that they were up to their ears in the problems with the election in Florida. And that they ginned up the so-called people that “complained” about the butterfly ballots.

Depends. My grandfather died in 1994. My uncle (different first name same last name)acquired the house and kept the listing for years before having it changed into his own name.

Those CD’s are full of information. He may have the CD from 1997 but that could still hold info for previous 3 years.
