A student organization's event scheduled for tonight has caused quite a stir on Temple University's campus.

The Student Senate has joined ranks with several organizations decrying a student group's invitation to Dutch politician Geert Wilders, known for anti-Islamic and anti-immigration beliefs, to speak on campus.

In an overwhelming vote yesterday, the governing body passed a resolution denouncing Wilders for "intolerable, disgraceful and prejudiced slandering of the Islamic faith

Do any of these brilliant students have any idea what is regularly carried out in the name of Islam?

Yeah, but everything Wilders has said about Islam is true. Verifiably true. So what's the problem? These people at TU aren't interested in truth?

Only in a fascist state is an accurate denotative description of something be called “slanderous.”

Moms and Dads — your tuition dollars at work.

"Do any of these brilliant students have any idea what is regularly carried out in the name of Islam?"

I'd highly doubt it, ron.

Damned shame the snot nosed youngsters probably missed the Locked Up Abroad on NatGeo last night. A Brit, American and several other "back packers" are kidnapped by Islamic nutballs of one stripe or another.
Sobering as hell.

HTH the leftists at NatGeo came about to finding the meanest looking people of Arab extract to play the roles of the truly sick maniacs must've had 'em all in a real quandary. Can't tell a factual story and lie at the same time, eh? I mean a bunch of Amish wouldn't have passed muster. LOL

Has the Student Senate ever denounced radical hateful Islam?

But Barry Scatton, whose College Republicans organization had co-sponsored the event but now condemns it, said that discussion shouldn't come at the expense of others.

Another singer in the Vienna Boys' Choir.

I see an RNC leadership position in this kid's future.

and where would they get that information?

Many of them think Mao was a happy philosopher.

Who are we to judge the murder and slaughter of 70 million people?

They could be Czars and WH Communications Directors if they maintain their level of ignorance.

Are these students smart enough to even know the answer to the question?

“why is their air?”

Are these students smart enough to even know that one of their alumni has the definite answer?

Yes, that must have been a real quandary all right, LOL.

You know, it baffles me the people the left defend, considering what those people support and left (supposedly) does not.

Here's the quote that should alarm and frighten every freedom loving American:

"We feel student groups should not bring people on campus that jeopardize the safety, or just the way people feel on this campus,"

By all means, let's not jeopardize the way people feel on the TU campus. Their right not be offended certainly trumps any of the articles in the Bill of Rights.

FYI; Temple is right in the middle of a very nasty ghetto. They have one of the biggest police forces in PA..
