I don’t understand why they would nominate a liberal for a relatively conservative district. It is stupid and it hurts the Republican brand when it is recovering quickly. The vast majority of Republicans are clear conservatives fiscally and socially. Every poll shows this. Why does a small number in leadership continue to think they can win through surrender?

I have absolutely NO idea. It’s crazy for sure. The GOP doesn’t have a clue anymore.

If the GOP cant even kick out the token black GOP leader due to pc liberal white guilt crap, what makes you think they have the stones to vote along the majority conservative GOP members?

They don’t want to win. The GOP has been infiltrated by liberal moles. It’s past time for a new party with an unwavering conservative ideology.

I think it is a passive aggressive way of saying “Screw you little people”.

I don’t understand why they would nominate a liberal for a relatively conservative district.

The party "insiders" tend to be wealthy people (lawyers, developers, etc) who often need a hand in their dealings with government bureaucracy, or who could benefit from a grant here and there.

Their ideal candidate is somebody who would be willing to get favors for the insiders, in exchange for her backing the Dems on votes the Dems really want. The real issue is grabbing control of the Republican Party from the grip of the "good ol' boy" network.

With a liberal administration in place it’s like hiring a criminal to figure out how other criminals operate. You need someone who speaks their language.

It’s one of the only ways to get anywhere in the corrupt system as it stands while you wait for a chance to get your own people into office.
