I happen to like the threads whether I agree or not with the articles. And that is the essence of a forum, to give people a chance to comment and debate on various subjects.
How many of the other HUNDREDS of threads each day that are repeats, vanities about pets and problems, prayer requests, etc. have you contacted and called them “spam”?
“I generally avoid your threads, but your spam volume has gotten to the point that I see no way to ignore it.”
CLUE: Don't click on the thread.

Some of us like to discuss the article, but that doesn’t seem to be allowed lately.

There's a difference that's intuitively obvious to the casual observer.

Are you saying this isnt news? Technically AIG isnt a strict 'news' website. It is written more in the style of a parody. But you can get some useful information from it from time to time.
They had an excellent series of articles on AIDS a while back, Ill try to dig up the links.

What/who has stopped you or like minded posters?
I do notice a few come to ridicule other posters and have nothing to say about the subject of the thread.
If anyone wishes to discuss the article there are others of us who wish to also and will but not when accompanied by personal insults.

Thats fair enough. Its just that when I broached a certain topic that was related to the article, the mods were called in. I wasnt insulting anybody. We dont always agree, but I respect GGG.
To: RightWingNilla
I haven’t gone back over the thread so i don’t know what comment or topic you brought up, and I wasn’t suggesting you did insult anyone.
I’ve argued, debated, too but at the end of the day it’s just two people talking and nothing personal. but that seems to be a hurdle some can’t get over so they argue about where the thread is placed, the subject matter, the posters, how many articles are posted, anything but the article.
So anytime you want to discuss or cuss the articles, I’ll probably be around somewhere.
With respect, C-Y-C.

The same button works all of them.
If you dislike/disagree with the creationist viewpoint, that's an understandable objection, as is contradicting what is said, but the term “ spam” says something else entirely that you haven't explained and “intuitively obvious” it isn't.
So why are these threads “spam”?

I have no problem with any of that. Take care CyC.

I generally do avoid the threads, as I find the conclusions drawn by GGG to be questionable at best. However, the frequency of his postings ensures that at least one of his threads is on the Latest Posts page almost constantly.
I think he posts these threads to try to trap those who do not believe in YEC into a pseudo-debate. After that, he often pings the mods to come to his defense. I find this practice distasteful. After watching multiple instances of this strategy, I found it impossible not to highlight it.

O.K. I rather enjoy the subject matter and so forth and I don’t have to agree with all the conclusions drawn to do so. But some don’t, so be it. Cheers!
