The Continental Congress 2009 UPDATE
Resistnet.com ^ | October 26, 2009

Posted on 10/26/2009 12:50:01 PM PDT by Man50D

The votes are finalized and we now have delegates representing all 50 states who were selected to attend the Continental Congress that will convene on November 11 - 22, 2009 in St. Charles, Ill. The event will be broadcast for the world to follow.

These delegates are donating their time and energy to the cause and they need our financial support to figure out how we will RESTORE our Constitution as it is written. The finances will cover their living expenses, advertising for the event, and the broadcasting of this event.

The budget has been lowered to the bare bones and there is a call for donations for this activity to be a success. We will also need you to spread the word across the net and to your friends as the advertising for this event has been eliminated to save money.

Please consider whatever you can afford for this historical event. Our constitution is hanging in the balance and we are looking towards the members of this Congress to help us figure out how to restore it so that we can restore our individual rights.

” we are looking towards the members of this Congress to help us figure out how to restore it so that we can restore our individual rights.”

The United States Congress? Good luck with that one man.

This is a stupid and dumb idea. I didn’t vote for someone to represent me.

The 2nd admendment is the reset button.

“When the people fear the government you have tyranny, when the government fears the people you have liberty.” Thomas Jefferson

It really is just that simple. If we convince these crooks that they will not like what will happen if they continue they will stop. Until then nothing will stop them, and I mean nothing.

If revolution comes to our shores, it will be unique in history. In stead of fighting to create a new constitution, for the first time a people will fight to restore one.

Ummmmmm . . . . . before representatives from the different states are selected to convene for a “Continental Congress”, shouldn’t the rest of us know about it so that we can be participants in the process??? Especially if we are going to be asked to donate to support it.

This looks like a Libertarian thing. I know two of the delegates from Az. One is a County Libertarian Party Chairman, I've worked with him on many issues, the other a former Libertarian candidate for Governor. Both are devoted to returning to Constitutional Government.

I don't have much faith in Libertarians accomplishing much.

You have to be kidding, I didn’t elect anyone or know anyone who did. And It would be crazy to start something like that with Libs controling both houses. I agree we have to reinforce liberty, but let us focus strongly on 2010 and then 2012.

"This looks like a Libertarian thing."

Our state coordinator was also a local Ron Paul organizer.
