This was on FNF just a few minutes ago. i had to turn it off. Made me ill also. When will this nightmare end?
The cameras were there because they are White House pool cameras. There’s usually 2 or 3 cameras that always follow the president around, and every network gets to send a camera operator along. The names are picked from a lottery. The White House pool cameras follow the president wherever he goes. All television media then gets to use the video footage of those cameras once they set up live or arrive back at the White House later.
He’ll never pass up a good photo op. Disgusting.
But, I agree with you, it was a PR stunt because this is the first such event of this kind he’s attended in person and there have been many under this leaderless and indecisive president.
I can’t stand to see his Maoist Mug anymore as he destroys our country.

Of Course it’s a PR STUNT... When W did stuff like this... it was MONTHS before we found out and even then it was only.. yes he was there.
Since he’s been President, Obama has not been to see ‘living’ troops at Walter Reed Hospital.
His attempt to prop up Afghanistan is as apparent as his propped up salute.

Why report this? Why? Other than to have a (G-d help us all) ‘feel good’ moment (he’s soooo caring) for Obama.
This is disgraceful.
At 1 a.m. no less. I just ask my self, would he be up at that hour and saluting those caskets if there wasn’t any reporters or cameramen allowed near there?
I didn’t think so either.
The only good I can think of from this is perhaps he finally sees them for himself and starts to “get it” when someone like General McCrystal tells him what is best for our troops.
I’m not holding my breath, but I can still hope I guess.

My husband just commented that Obama will be doing this a lot since he won’t send more troops to help.
He should have been spat upon in his face... directly in front of those cameras.
