Fred Thompson bragged that McCain/Feingold should be called, McCain/Feingold/Thompson. He chaired McCain’s 2000 campaign. Ann Coulter did a column about how McFred was barely conservative enough to get by in his safe TN seat. Promote him at your peril.

This just goes to show, we're expecting to find perfect people that are perfect all the time. These are unrealistic expectations.
Besides even the purists here on FR do not agree on what constitutes perfection.
