I would suggest understanding you are talking to a staffer who is probably getting almost all calls against it and is doing his best job to convince you his boss “is leaning against it” while the opposite is true.

It was interesting what Rush said the other day that Nancy Peolosi wants to get their vote and then will be happy to see them lose in the next election so she can consolidate her power even more.

Run that one by a staffer . . . if his boss goes he has to find a new job. The staffer may be a little more “impassioned” about the calls coming in running against this nightmare.
