Thanks for posting all the #'s.

Observation ... only Zero and Pelosi are stupid enough to foist major changes on highly celebrated Soviet anniversary dates. It's almost as if they planned it ...

Sept 17, 2009 - Zero renegs on Poland missile defense on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland

Nov 7, 2009 - Pelosi has scheduled Healthcare Vote on the anniversary of Red October ... the Lenin/Soviet takeover of Russia

Pelosi’s Hunt for (another) Red October

Very interesting that Pelosi is scheduling the healthcare vote for Saturday, Nov 7th ... which is the anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution.

Look at the historical ties to today:

In early October, Lenin drove the Bolshevik Party to mount an insurrection against the current government. Lenin felt it was of the utmost importance to act quickly, while they had the momentum to do so. The armed workers (known as Red Guards) attacked on the night of Nov. 6-7 under the orders of the Soviet's Military Revolutionary Committee. The Red Guards seized post and telegraph offices, electric works, railroad stations, the state bank and ultimately the Winter Place.

At that point the Provisional Government fell to Lenin, who then announced the new Socialist order in Russia.

The Bolshevik motto of the day? "All power to the soviets!"

I have tired out for the moment, but I’m surprised how many offices answer their phones so promptly. (Thank you, US Govt with my tax dollars!) Only got a couple of full voicemail boxes - mostly talked to real people!

Same here, I got mostly live people in DC today.

You've done a GREAT job, GnuHere! I'll be back on the phone tomorrow with some Blue Dogs... we MUST kill this bill!

Ditto to you - I probably have some more time to call Friday. Mostly I heard, “He/she is reviewing the bill,” which of course no one could dispute since Nutty Nancy would love nothing better than to deny them the time to go through it.

I believe I only heard 2 or 3 offices who would admit to planning affirmative votes.

Interesting. My husband and I mostly got: "I'll pass your comments along to the Congressman..."

We'll be making more calls tomorrow... ;-)

Oh yeah, let me justify further, when I have called the representatives who are in my state and not in my district they have assured me that my opinion will not count since I am not from their district.

But you can mention that you will "actively work to defeat them in 2010". You can (politely) threaten to monetarily support their opponent in 2010 (whether or not you really plan to).
