Witnesses to Thursday's massacre at Fort Hood said alleged shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan appeared calm and shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire at a crowd of young soldiers, pausing only to reload before he was taken down by a female officer who is being hailed as a hero.
SNIP... The massacre ended when Hasan was shot several times by a civilian security guard. Hasan survived the shootout, but ABC News has learned that he has been left paralyzed by his injuries.

Cone said wounded first responder Sgt. Kimberly Munley, who exchanged gunfire with Hasan and managed to shoot him four times despite being shot herself, put a stop to the carnage with her quick thinking and willingness to go head-to-head with the gun-wielding officer.
"She was quite effective, one of our most impressive young policemen," Cone said. "She walked up and basically engaged him. I think, certainly, this could've been far worse."
Cone said Munley spent Thursday night calling her fellow co-workers from her hospital bed to make sure everyone was OK.

Paralyzed — I am satisfied. At first, I was happy to hear that he was alive/ so that he could be tried and hanged. Then, wishing he had died. Now, paralyzed — I’m ok with that.

Nope. The WH will pull some crap about how this is a federal crime, Hasan won’t get a fair trial in Texas, etc. and he’ll be spared the death penalty and given 4 star prison facilities where he can spread the word of islam. Watch.
I beleive we were sending the 20th criminal this year to his maker on the day the shooting happened.
Can we at least sweat him a bit before we execute him? We need to know who his imam is, who his “friends” are, if there were any other shooters, if there any plans beyond the attack, etc.
They should be sure that a priest and a rabbi are at his bedside at all times. Wouldn’t want him to lack religious comfort.
Nice shooting. If I ever get into a situation where there’s a nut with a gun, I hope there’s a Kimberley Munley around.
