The big one in Severeville (Spell??) is huge and was very busy. The one in PF was smaller and lots of empty floor space.

Thanks for your smart assed response. I will ignore it since you are being a smart ass. My comment was that a place that was billed as a wonderful OUTDOORS opportunity for families, to get away, is now no different than downtown America. Oh, by the way, I was BORN here, and been here my entire life, so no Welcome To America is needed pal. Now, turn off your FAUCET, man.

Sevierville.

So named for John Sevier, who fought as a Regulator in that pre-Revolutionary conflict in North Carolina, commanded the legendary “Over The Mountain Men” in the Battle Of King’s Mountain in the Revolution, the only Governor of the short-lived Free State of Franklin (1785-1789) and the first Governor of the great State of Tennessee, from the time NC ceded territory to form that State, 1796, to 1801.

He was a fine man and a patriot.

"pasties"

On a recent trip to Marquette with the wife, I asked the dest clerk at the motel we stayed at where was the best place in town to get pasties. She looked at me for a moment and then said "I've lived here all my life, AND I HATE PASTIES!!!" (confidentially, I love pasties). But then she told me where the best place to get them was. The upshot, we couldn't find the place, and ended up going to some other restaurant and not eating pasties.

"driven across"

Did just that last month with the wife. Other people have stated that if a person thinks we're running out of space, they should fly coast to coast across the country. They wouldn't say that if they did.

"Black Hills"

It is a great drive and one of my favorites. My wife and I are often amused at the designated national parks out west because so much of the west could be considered a national park. The entire states of Utah and Wyoming for example.
