Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the gunman who killed 13 at America's Fort Hood military base, once gave a lecture to other doctors in which he said non-believers should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats.
He also told colleagues at America's top military hospital that non-Muslims were infidels condemned to hell who should be set on fire. The outburst came during an hour-long talk Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, gave on the Koran in front of dozens of other doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Centre in Washington DC, where he worked for six years before arriving at Fort Hood in July.
Colleagues had expected a discussion on a medical issue but were instead given an extremist interpretation of the Koran, which Hasan appeared to believe.
It was the latest in a series of "red flags" about his state of mind that have emerged since the massacre at Fort Hood, America's largest military installation, on Thursday.
Hasan, armed with two handguns including a semi-automatic pistol, walked into a processing centre for soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, where he killed 13 and injured more than 30.
Fellow doctors have recounted how they were repeatedly harangued by Hasan about religion and that he openly claimed to be a "Muslim first and American second."
One Army doctor who knew him said a fear of appearing discriminatory against a Muslim soldier had stopped fellow officers from filing formal complaints.
Another, Dr Val Finnell, who took a course with him in 2007 at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland, did complain about Hasan's "anti-American rants." He said: "The system is not doing what it's supposed to do. He at least should have been confronted about these beliefs, told to cease and desist, and to shape up or

how come they know this across the pond...and our media doesn’t?
SO MUCH FOR THE SHRINK PROFESSION. COULDN’T FIGURE OUT THEY HAD A murderer AMONG THEM.
The British journalist do their jobs.
American journalists just attend ‘sensitivity training’ !
Our media knows it all right - they just aren’t releasing it.
The media knows, they just don’t care to report anything that doesn’t have a liberal slant on it.
cnn still saying the “search is on for clues”, before the media, and the aclu are done with him, he’ll be painted as the tortured victim.
To save us from the Swine Flu?
Oh my.
Once again, the British, 4000 miles away, beat the U.S. MSM, who are on the scene, with this..
Amazing..
Red flags? Helloooooooooooo...is anyone there? I hate to say this but the US military has a serious case of PC insanity given that they let this jihadist go about his business as if everything was normal.
If a member of the “vast right wing conspiracy” ( any conservative) had said that - ole Janet N would have been on them like white on rice. She knows a terrorists when she sees a conservative. But a Muslim? Give him a pass and condemn anyone who dares to doubt his motives.
Can this be verified?
I reserve my judgement until CNN verifies the story....
The domestic media are in an addictive euphoric fog because of the coming of the Messiah and miss a lot of news stories because of it.
Ok, I’m probably going to take some heat for saying this, but since when do the officers of our military put careers ahead of preventing terrorist attacks like what happened at Ft. Hood?
THANK YOU UK FOR BEING BRAVE ENOUGH TO QUOTE WHAT OUR MEDIA IS TOO PANSY TO REPORT!
I hope these dimwit PC Amry doctors feel the quilt of not preventing the murders of these young soldiers. Send the whole Staff of Walter Reed to Afganistan, let them feel what our troops are going through. Maybe that will get their minds Right!
Once again - british journalists doing the work “american” journalists refuse to do.
Nobody wants to offend anybody, so the guy ends up shooting 13 people dead. Pathetic!!!
Like Obama said though... Don’t jump to any conclusions. The next thing you know Barry O will be groveling and apologizing to this fool and other Muslims for all offensive beliefs he had to put up with while serving in the American military. Beliefs like God, Country, Duty and Sacrifice. Yeah, those nasty American beliefs that are so offensive to Radical Muslim Jihadist. But nobody’s saying this guy was a Jihadist, that would be jumping to a conclusion.
What a freaking joke. 2012 can’t come quick enough.
If he said that black people or gays should be lynched he’d have been out the door in a heartbeat
the ARMY killed its own by permitting this madmen to stay in their midst unchecked unchallenged uncontrolled and UNCOMMANDED

The the politically correct pysch department at Walter Reed, promoted this future mass murderer to Major and sent him to Ft Hood to be out of their way.
Thanks to real reporters with foriegn news organizations, we are learning about some of the very scary personal history of this TROPPOS member.
Nah, it wasn't a terrorist attack. Move long - nothing to see...
I wonder if Lindsey Graham has read this?
nvestigators and the prosecution at trial suggested that Muhammad intended to kill his ex-wife Mildred, who had estranged him from his children. According to this theory, she would appear to be just another random victim of the snipers. Muhammad frequented the neighborhood where she lived during the attacks, and some of the incidents occurred nearby. Additionally, he had earlier made threats against her. Mildred herself made the claim that she was his intended target. However Judge LeRoy Millette Jr. prevented prosecutors from presenting that theory during the trial, saying that a link had not been firmly established.
While imprisoned, John Lee Malvo wrote a number of erratic diatribes about what he termed “jihad” against the United States.[18] “I have been accused on my mission. Allah knows I'm gonna suffer now”, he wrote.[18] Because his rants and drawings featured not only such figures as Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, but also characters from the film series The Matrix, these musings were dismissed as immaterial.[18] Some investigators reportedly said they had all but eliminated terrorist ties or political ideologies as a motive.[19][20][21] Nonetheless, in at least one of the ensuing murder trials, a Virginia court found Muhammad guilty of killing “pursuant to the direction or order” of terrorism.[22]
At the 2006 trial of Muhammad, Malvo testified that the aim of the killing spree was to kidnap children for the purpose of extorting money from the government and to “set up a camp to train children how to terrorize cities”,[23] with the ultimate goal being to “shut things down” across the United States.[24]
Egyptair 990 crash: The cockpit voice recorder (CVR) recorded the Captain excusing himself to go to the bathroom, followed thirty seconds later by the First Officer saying, "I rely on God." A minute later, the autopilot was disengaged, immediately followed by the First Officer again saying, "I rely on God." Three seconds later, the throttle for both engines was reduced to zero, and both elevators were moved three degrees, nose down. The First Officer repeated "I rely on God" six more times before the Captain is suddenly heard to ask repeatedly, "What's happening, what's happening?" The flight data recorder reflected that the Captain then commanded the nose up while the First Officer commanded the nose down, at the same time as the engines were shut down. The Captain asked, "What is this? What is this? Did you shut the engines?" There were no other aircraft in the area. There was no indication that an explosion occurred on board. The engines operated normally for the entire flight until they were shut down. The left engine was subsequently torn from the wing from the stress of the maneuvers.
Missives from the Religion of Peace and one of its adherents.
Our soldiers deserve the truth. And they clearly aren’t getting it from their so-called commander in chief.
Why do you ask? Is Lindsay on the PC bandwagon too?
ABSOLUTELY. JL was quoted this morning that Congress should hold an investigation. LG said there was no evidence that Hasan was given a pass because he was a muslim ....
JL = Joe Lieberman
Political correctness mass murder in Texas.
>Why do you ask? Is Lindsay on the PC bandwagon too?<
Watch this. Put down your coffee first.

At least we have some friends somewhere. Unlike the state run media which is our absolute worst enemy aside from obama.
what makes this even more incredible is that not only did he publicly state these beliefs as a US soldier but as one who counsels other soldiers.
Only for other countries. Don't worry they don't investigate anything that would disrupt THEIR liberal utopian society.
Obama won’t say this guy acted stupidly. Doesn’t want to offend muslims.
Now if he was a white Cambridge cop...
An attitude like that, in a shrink no less, needs a lot more help than 72 virgins can provide.
Unless they're assigned to a firing squad.
This guy’s background check for his security clearance must have been fairly perfunctory.
a.k.a. "clues made While U wait" by clueless CNN
Thank God for the Foreign Press where the truth is told. Just as I said: http://www.brayincandy.com/
Another 13 Americans sacrificed to Political Correctness.
Pray for America and Our Troops
If this is true, these weren’t merely red flags, these were neon flashing lights.
I think maybe the media, and the medical officers in the Army, have been so secular that they really don’t understand that any educated American, who is not a fundamentalist Christian, could actually take an action that is religiously motivated.
They look for the motivations that a secular person would have, like resentment, self-esteem issues, etc. What in their profession prepares them for someone who acts out of religious conviction? Obama has this disconnect, too, because he has never done anything for a committed, religious reason.
It’s not that common, but there are some people who profoundly need to follow a radical, religious calling. If there is not a productive, challenging path to put them on, and a lot of sane guidance and discipline from good people, they will respond to the zeal and attraction of evil people. The Muslim community will not or cannot redirect their radical children. Christians had better find a way to reach them and lead them. Christians also need to direct our own people who yearn for an extreme challenge, so they don’t go find the Taliban, too.
A sorrowful, but predictable, outcome of the Political Correctness espoused by the progressives and socialists currently in charge. There will no doubt be more happenings such as this if we allow the PC crowd to continue to define the debate and set the agenda.
It’s time to take back the country.
“Colleagues had expected a discussion on a medical issue but were instead given an extremist interpretation of the Koran, which Hasan appeared to believe. “
There is nothing “extremist” about this “interpretation”. This is what the koran teaches, to ALL muslims. When will the world wake up to the fact that you cannot live peacefully with muslims. Either they must be eradicated, or you will be by them.
I cannot wait until they report the truth about how he was promoted this year. I hope they name names!
