As for me I don't like socialism, regardless of who brings it to me. As a conservative I am funny that way.
Between two political groups, one can't pick the opposition's candidate but they can sure get involved in picking their own side's candidate and the site that you are signed on to and posting on right now is dedicated largely to that very purpose with the proviso that the candidate has to represent conservatism.

They call themselves conservatives, but at the same time they demand group-think and enforced policy discipline. My type of conservative holds to the old fashioned: Let a thousand flowers bloom.
