...This is Palin Week--days of interviews relating to the publication of her book, "Going Rogue."... Someone will point out that she is even scheduled soon to go to Iowa--and you know what that means.
On the other hand, someone else will point out that the very week Palin is promoting her book, the current president is abroad attending meetings in Asia, including a visit with our Chinese bankers. Could those who fault Barack Obama for being callow and inexperienced imagine Palin meeting with the Chinese or, for that matter, conducting a protracted policy review about Afghanistan? As for Pakistan, South Korea, North Korea, the Middle East and, of course, the perplexing Georgian-Abkhazian conflict--I don't think she is quite up to it all, some of those nations not being close to Alaska.
And this being the case, the Institute for the Study of Sarah Palin should look into how she was chosen by John McCain as his vice presidential running mate--and why McCain, given absolute proof of abominable judgment and the sort of sorry political opportunism he built a career decrying, has not repaired to a monastery and taken a vow of absolute silence because almost anything he has to say post-Palin has to be judged by his choice of her.
A further area of study ought to deal with the mind-set of McCain's former campaign aides who continue to criticize Palin for not turning out to be the mute puppet they had so hoped she would be. That she went rogue I have no doubt--but this was only after they went stupid and helped pick her in the first place. They live in political ignominy for not resigning from the campaign when it counted....

Yes. And she would enter those meeting with a functioning moral compass, an understanding of American Exceptionalism and the best interests of her countrymen at heart. More than I can say for the current callow and inexperienced buffoon currently bowing and scraping his way through Asia.
Guess what Dick? They can’t believe that Obama is engaging in a protracted review of the Afghanistan policy, either!
Mr. Cohen, here’s a lemon, why don’t you go suck on it.
How they hate her.
The more they attack her, the more I am inclined to see her in a favorable light. I have some few doubts about her ‘gravitas’ (a word that seems to be back in vogue) but anyone who can strike such fear into the hearts of so many liberals must be doing something very, very right.
What a hate filled piece of filth Cohen is.
Could those who fault Barack Obama for being callow and inexperienced imagine Palin meeting with the Chinese or, for that matter, conducting a protracted policy review about Afghanistan?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
This is pure crap.
Srah Palin has major ionternational experience, having already conducted extesive negotions betweem Alaska , Russia, South Korea, Japan , and China on home porting in the fishing and shippig industry. As a matter of fact Palin is well respected and liked in Japan , for example.
This is just plain character assassination on the part of the WAPO whacko left.
Palin still has more internatonal experience than Obama has after he has been 10 months in office.Obamas idiocy internationally shows this fact.Palin would have been doing a much better job as president than Obama will ever be able to do.
“...Could those who fault Barack Obama for being callow and inexperienced imagine Palin meeting with the Chinese or, for that matter, conducting a protracted policy review about Afghanistan?...”
D*med straight. She’d do fine. She uses things called “common sense” and “logic”. Things that are bred out of students taking our standard liberal marshmallow courses. And things that are apparently banned in law schools.
It is amazing, though, that they consider Palin so stupid and insignificant but spend so much of their time on the subject. It's an obsession, and an ugly one...
Is there anyone in the press who has anything good to say about Palin except maybe Susan on Fox News?
I’m worried about the appearance of lack of gravitas. I have all the faith in the world that she would make good decisions and has the intelligence to assess complex problems. But her demeanor - her way of speaking - well, I wish she came off more like Liz Cheney. I think this especially matters because she’s so good looking.
This is a very nasty piece by Cohen. He should have been honest and called it “I hate Republicans.”
LOL, Panglag Talagunta Mapappa Gin Rahnifatakaturanga!
Someone better tell Uncle Cohen that Gov. Palin was the ONLY member of either presidential ticket that had actually sat down and negotiated an agreement involving a foreign country, prior to the election.
Dumbass...
