"You know, I discern more of a difference between then, which was under the Bush administration whom I was criticizing, and now, when it is the Obama administration and an entirely different tone was taken," Dobbs said.
Was it a Nazi Germany sounding tone?

I admire Lou Dobbs greatly for standing on his principles. He did the right thing resigning from that network.

Dobbs is sugar coating it. CNN paid him $8,000,000.00 to go away. THAT makes me happy ;-)

Dobbs abruptly resigned from CNN last week after agreeing that he could no longer operate under CNN's push to avoid airing anchor opinions in prime time. The whole network is nothing but opinion. At least Dobbs had the balls to admit his advocacy was just that. Sure the rest of them try to disguise it, but put a pig in lipstick and it's still just a pig. I watch CNN and I see their not so subtle opinion journalism all the time.

Dobb’s used to rip Bush apart, sometimes on good stuff(like immigration) , sometimes on dumb stuff (welfare spending) .
It was the Birth-certificate theme that killed him, the kiss of death. I think he was the only one.

It’s a valid point. Surely Godwin’s Law must have a Hitler-resemblance exception.

Fox News is beginning to resemble a bomb shelter.
Or, might it be ... a fallout shelter?

There is not a nickel’s difference between them.
For more on that, see the 3rd quote on my FR profile page, the two-paragraph one by Hayek.

CNN has NO news at all. All puffpieces and human interest stories and blithering blather masquerading as “news” but pushing a POV so blatantly it is nauseating.
I get more hard news despite the biases from the old networks in their nightly half hour slots.

No, actually mine started in the clinton administration...that's why it got dubbed the Clinton News Network.
Wrapping their liberal tentacles around obama was just a natural progression to the Communist News Nabobs.
Tied with the fact that it was started by uber-liberal Ted Turner is another factor explaining the left-skewed cable show.
I will never forget that anchorman, Bernie whats-his-name hiding under the table in the hotel in Bagdad during Desert Storm. Paper tigers, all.

I use to watch Dobbs a bit because he was nailing the amnesty stuff. One of the things that use to bother me was his running tab of troop deaths and injuries every night. It felt like a scorboard and it was p*ssing me off.
I’m not sure if he knocked that off or not once Obama took over.

It’s only considered “opinion journalism” if its not favorable towards Obama.

I really like the quote, “Fascism is the stage reached after communism has proved an illusion” b/c it makes me wonder what happens when all these big gov’t programs fail.
