He got off easy ... he should go to a Raiders game ... wearing a Broncos jersey
From the article:
“Doctors suspect his drink may have been spiked with toxic grain alcohol.”
Grain alcohol is the imbibable kind. Wood alcohol is the toxic one. Or IPA, but not grain.
Yes it is possible that someone spiked his drink. People still try to get women to drink roofie-spiked stuff. The perps probably were not trying to kill him, though. Hope the truth comes out.
Pff... Are you sure he’s not faking it? You grow up on that Natty Ice you should welcome Antifreeze!
All joking aside I hope his health is fine.
I think it very well could be true.
The Chicago way!
Wow...if true they better find the culprits. Not sure how they can tell. Did they run toxicology tests afterwards?
Despicable IF true...
Hate the steelers but this aint right.
I want to say, as a Steeler fan, that neither Chicago in general nor Bears fans in particular (but I repeat myself) should be blamed for any crime that might have been committed here.
This is the act of one or more thugs, nothing more.
What was he trashing, a Chicago politician in a high place of late?
No, seriously, wishing this guy the best. What a cowardly POS thing to do to a fellow human being. Someone should fry.
Not in Chitcago!
I think the sister meant wood alcohol. Grain alcohol is what we commonly drink. Beer is one example.
I don’t know what the intent was, but the responsibility is just the same. It sure seems as if someone slipped him a mickey.
Blindness is a result of wood alcohol. Whether that’s what this was, I don’t know.

I believe him. Look at where he was: Chicago!
Nah...that wouldn’t be living up to the “standard” set by Commissioner Goodell. ; )
Squabbles about a stupid game are so juvenile.
Only by playing a team that can challenge you to the max, do you improve your play beyond what it could have been without doing so. The rivalry should be appreciated, and done with good spirits. Rib the other team, but make it just for fun.
The high school, college, or professional sports rivalries are obnoxious and divide us.
Two teams existing in one town, hate each others guts even if they live right across the street from one another. How pathetic is that.
If it’s a professional team, the principle is basically the same. If you want you team to be the best it can be, you want them to play other tough teams. Both teams should get applause when they hit the field.
Boos are nothing but poor sportsmanship, unless there’s some activity that calls for it.
I know this is serious, and since I still haven’t forgiven the Steelers, or the Refs, especially Referee Fred Swearingen for the Super Bowls in the 70’s, I will abstain from comment.
I've felt that way too after watching the Bears this year, and all I've had is a couple beers in my living room.
really? is this a rhetorical question?
the culture of death desires to remove all obstacles in their way to ultimate power ... by ANY means necessary resulting in the minimum damage to the party's image
Hey...we all have our crosses to bear.
OOOooooooooo......I said "bear" again! AAAAAaaaaaargh!
