Folks, Post here if you are going, know someone who is going, have reports on the size of the crowds, or interaction with Gov. Palin. WWJ Radio Detroit this morning @ 5:00am noted people were already getting their wrist bands that early for the book signing in the evening.

Axelrod and Rahm will be peeing their pants when they see the size of the crowds and enthusiasm for Sarah.

Andrea Mitchell just acknowledged that there were 1500 people already in line. Waiting outside the mall until they were allowed inside.
Of course, she just couldn’t help herself and suggested that since Huckabee was in Michigan yesterday he somehow warmed up the crowd for Sarah.

I would love to see the ratings of a Palin talk show versus Oprah. She could probably do one for a year or so prior to running for President if she wanted to.
Watched a few minutes of Morning Joe. ( I was doing penance) and listening to Michael Beschloss insist no president has had more issues to confront that BO. Didn’t mention the 9/11 attack. (how intellectually dishonest)
When they went to Mitchell I stayed to watch her discomfort and was rewarded with her having to admit there were 1500 people in line BEFORE the mall opened.

My prediction is that there will be three aging hippie protesters who make the front page of the paper and the evening news with a scant mention of who they're protesting.
does anyone know if she will be coming to the Northeast for this tour and when that may be(i know it would be behind enemy lines and all that)? i apologize since this is a bit off topic but i would like to go to a book signing if at all possible

Just got a note on FB from a friend. He went to get in line and left. A cop estimated there were greater than 1500 people there at 7am.

I bought the book and considered going out there early this morning before work and getting a wristband...but didn't.
I'll try after I get out of work.
I'm betting there's 2000 there NOW just to try and get wristbands so they can get in line later.
Remember Sarah isn't scheduled to start signing until 6 PM.
