I second that. Art Bell has always been one of my favorite radio hosts, right up there with Rush, Beck and Savage. He’s not on the air much anymore since he’s “retired” so thanks for the heads up. I “discovered” Art in the late 90s when I used to do a lot of very late night driving. His interesting subjects and interviews always kept me awake at the wheel, even at 2 or 3 in the morning. I’m eternally grateful.
I continue to ask the question, if people have time-travelled, how come they never popped up and told everyone what’s going to happen? People like Art Bell mumble something about them being quite and only liking to watch. As if humans could stop being humans and suddenly get all disciplined.
Perhaps we have talked to time-travellers, only we considered them crazy people, prophets, or psychics. Or maybe they were like Biff in “Back to the Future II” and were only interested in making a quick buck. I could believe that.
I already went forward in time to hear it. It was only so, so.

I tend to believe true time travelers would be quite about it.. Hard to know what you’d do in that situation.
Yeah. As an entertainer, he's even better than Rush. It doesn't matter how crazy the person he's interviewing is, he still makes it entertaining and treats them with respect. Mr. Bell is the superb professional.
My favorites were nights where he would only accept calls from (people who claimed to be) time travelers. I wish he would take his show back.

Hey, you owe me 13 trillion dollars. The operator charged your call to my number and then applied 25 cents against inflation for the 14 or so millenia at prevailing rates.
Fortunately, I did my best zerobama impression, so they said “oh well if it is you then trillions of dollars is no big deal...” but I am not sure how long that will work.

I don’t think it’s that hard. If they were super-secret spies who came back in time to save the world, but if they spoke the spell would be broken, maybe they’d keep quiet. But since when do most government workers (if it is the government that has the technology) keep tight lips? As for regular people (if regular people are allowed to travel in time), people would eat poop to get on TV. You don’t think they’d try to get famous for something as huge as traveling through time?
