Oh, good. I love MoDo threads.

Let the parade of CZJ pics begin.

Gratuitious Palin-bashing thinly veiled by a slight at Obama.

The usual PDS tripe.

...not sure what to make of this!

I didn't read anything past, "She’s back on the trail, with the tumbling hair and tumbling thoughts."

So I'm afraid I will of little help to you in figuring it out.

As Judith Doctor, a 69-year-old spiritual therapist, told The Washington Post’s Jason Horowitz at Palin’s book signing in Grand Rapids, Mich., “She’s alive inside, and that radiates energy, and people who are not psychologically alive inside are fascinated by that.”

Gee thanks! I feel much better now...

Go ahead and read it. She summed things so far up this way:

“If we could see a Reduced Shakespeare summary of Obama’s presidency so far, it would read:

Dither, dither, speech. Foreign trip, bow, reassure. Seminar, summit. Shoot a jump shot with the guys, throw out the first pitch in mom jeans. Compromise, concede, close the deal. Dither, dither, water down, news conference.”

Finally, something I agree with!

Do people actually exist who read MoDo and the NY Times?

Of no concern, Sarah signed more books last week than read Maureen. They drip with fear.

The spinster is in panic mode. I wonder if her liver can take it.

Not, "Toil, toil, boil and bubble"?

Maureen means that an alley full of winos on Manhattan Island is more picturesque than anywhere in the natural wonderland of Alaska because, well, it’s on Manhattan.

She also means that anyone supporting, admiring or - heaven forfend - voting for Sarah Palin does so simply because Sarah Palin. The women’s ‘visceral’ reaction is to Palin’s beauty and their desire to emulate it. The men’s ‘visceral’ reaction is....you know the rest.

‘Visceral’ also means anyone supporting Palin or sharing her values is a bloodthirsty hate-monger intent on restoring the institution of slavery and ripping the so-called social safety net away....although neither Dowd nor any other lefty can explain how having promiscuous unprotected sex often accompanied by drug and alcohol abuse is in any way relevant to the concept of ‘safety.’

‘Visceral’ also means ‘non-thinking’ as - repeat after me - all liberals are smarter than Palin (this is an article of faith even with union types who went and voted Obama only to watch their plants and coal mines idled thanks to environmental restrictions).

Finally, ‘visceral’ means ‘Palin gets a better reaction than I do and I’m envirous. At least Dowd is on a level with us common folk on this one.

We ordinary Americans are so beneath queen Maureen. Her allusion to the strip mall of Wasilla speaks far more about Dowd than it does about America.

Me neither. Perhaps some meditation and CZJ omphaloskepsis is in order.

=> voting for Sarah Palin does so simply because Sarah Palin is attractive.

"Visceral Has Its Value"

Yeah, that's what Michael Douglas said when he dumped maureen dowd and chased Catherine Zeta Jones.

I don't. And since this requires a login, I'm not going to break my streak here today.
