And you know what? It was -37 below two nights ago in my little corner of the world, and I can’t wait. Bring it on. Two years ago we had a 70-plus day growing season; this last summer it was almost as grim. I’m looking forward to a little apple orchard and some grape vines and some plums and cherries and a pumpkin patch, as well as a considerable reduction in the heating bill and not having to plug in the car every night for six months just to get it started.
If there really is global warming, it’ll be the best thing that has happened along the banks of the Yukon River in many millions of years. Has anyone really considered that a warm Earth is a productive and growing Earth, or warmer climates means less money to heat homes?

42.8F - 32F = 10.8F
For what its worth that is a little over 90 years from now.

You made an error in your title. 6°C is 10.8°F when you’re comparing temperatures. The starting point for both scales is different.
