They once held "an unromantically high opinion of Obama," but now it is very romantic. He's talking in his sleep.

- "a critical mass of influential people who once held big hopes for his presidency began to wonder whether they had misjudged the man."
- "an unromantically high opinion of Obama,"
- isn't "the person of integrity and even classiness they had thought."

She scored "the Chicago crowd," which she characterized as "a distressingly insular and small-minded West Wing team." The White House, Ms. Drew says, needs adult supervision"an older, wiser head, someone with a bit more detachment." Who could be more detached than Joe Biden? "Wiser", however, doesn't apply.

"Influential" but, astonishingly stupid, apparently.

AHAaaaaaaaaaa
Now I know why Ms Noonan’s suddenly discovered conservativism once again....her DC journalist friends are having second thoughts.... so she is now trying to take advantage as if she were with us first and all along.
I did respect her once.

Well what happened Peggy?
You were telling us how brilliant and charming Obama was during the election.
What? It wasn’t true?
Peggy you burned your credibility in 2008 and I doubt you’ll be able to get it back.

The only thing I want to hear from Peggy is, “I was wrong. I was naive, stupid, and wrong. I supported Obama, and I was dead wrong. I had no right to criticize George W. Bush for his decisions, because it is now apparent that my judgment is not sound.”
But instead, she refers to a nameless bunch of liberals who have lost faith. And she takes the opportunity to make another dig at George W Bush, as though she is in some superior vantage point and therefore has the right to critique him.

The infamous “wow bow” to the emperor of Japan was a calculated tribute meant as a recognition that the US use of the atomic bombs to end the war with Japan, was a crime in Obama’s view, and was unnecessary. Obama like most far lefties of his ilk considers this a “war crime” committed by US.
There are those who are eager to dismiss this as an act of of “ a political novice”. It wasn’t. Its time to recognize every action (not his populist statements) this guy takes is a cold calculation.

Like out of a scene from the TV series “V” Obama botches his version of the “bliss” when the teleprompter died, and now instead of his followers living in his state of bliss they are instead being woke up with a slap and a cold towel.
