Why their agenda is wrong. It’s contrary to our nature.

I am no lawyer, but isn't there a thing called "just cause"?

How can the lesbian show that she should be justly given a child that is not hers biologically?

Any lawyers out there in Freepland?

I certainly believe in opposing them in the here and now, but even they seem to recognize the necessity of finding Divine sanction for homosexuality and marriage, and thus expend inordinate amounts of energy vainly seeking to negate the Biblical injunctions against it. To which I respond with about 35,000 words of my own. http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/HomoVsBible-Intro.html

Thank God who made man and women uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them in marriage.

"takes swig of cheap whiskey, puffs cigar, scratches self, goes back to cleaning motorcycle parts in bathtub"

I have to tell you a story... back when I was in my early 20's I was just getting involved in amateur racing.

While my wife had gone to her parents house for a visit, I was rebuilding my latest frankenstein engine and decided the dishwasher was the perfect way to clean some things up nicely...

Well, my wife cam home early. Instead of catching me in bed with another woman, she found a full set of pistons and rods in the dishwasher.

It was an uncomfortable afternoon, but at least she didn't leave and shack up with a woman.

There seems to be a hormonal component here. Both men and women have both testosterone (associated with intercourse-seeking, and aggressive behavior toward perceived rivals) and oxytocin (associated with affectionate touching and bonding), but men have more of the former, and women more of the latter.

Affectionate touching releases oxytocin. This makes for fondness between husband and wife; it also makes a mother's breastfeeding and contact with small children pleasurable and emotionally satisfying.

Needless to say, the interplay of both,(male/female, testosterone/oxytocin) is essential for the continuation of the human race via a strong drive for intercourse, followed by the maintenance of the wife/husband bond and the mother/child bond.

Get two men together sexually, and it goes haywire, it's like testosterone2: aggressive lustful behavior, frequent impersonal sexual contact, little pair bonding. Two women, the converse: oxytocin2.

One might think that this would make women's homosexuality more permanent, but it has a paradoxical opposite effect as well: when women break up, they feel deeply wounded and broken-hearted, so they often don't "move on" to another partner. They may decide to try a kind of defensive abstinence, or invest their emotional energy into their child, or into God/spirituality.

But gay men are more likely to just keep pinballing around from partner to partner.

Like all generalizations, this of course runs into all kinds of particular exceptions. But as a general observation, it's what I've seen.

See the lesbian ex-partner is trying to convert a CHILD! SICK! This is a nightmare in living color. What a sick story this child will read when she is an adult. I hope the biological mother triumphs, but I have reservation about her also.

"Biological Mom Ordered to Give Up Child

[Lesbians fighting over custody]

Miller conceived Isabella through artificial insemination while she was in a civil union with Jenkins. About a year later, Miller left homosexuality. "

Reading further, we find that [of course] the ACLU entered the case on the side of the butch and tried to have the biological mom jailed -- they failed.

The previous poster that said the gay lobby is only doing this for reasons of winning a court case and setting a precedent, were absolutely right. Why else would the ACLU and the Lambda Legal Defense Fund get involved?

Below are pics of the two, ahem, "ladies." Guess which one is the "dad" and which is the "mom."

Jenkins is on the left and Miller is on the right. Pretty easy to distinguish the two.

I think that is much the case, is just another example of the wise perception i often see among posters on FR. Thank God, who created and joined man and women for more than just sex and procreation.

...while by no means marginalizing that.

Here’s the twist when she broke up with the woman it was very cordial and the woman introduced her to the man she’s been married to for 10 years and has 3 kids with! And she and the woman are still friends.

LOL! That's true, btw, a lot of lesbians are women who have been raped or sexually abused.

It is called live and learn. She lived a perverted lifestyle and now a innocent child will suffer for her choices.

I think (from my experience of gay men) that a lot of them are responding to things in their childhood or past, too. When I lived in SF, I had two gay male friends who had both been molested by foster mothers as children, and over the years I met several gay men who really wanted to get married - to women. But they were trapped in the world they were in, and I think it was harder for them to move out of it, at that time, at least.

That’s one of the reasons I think these pro-gay programs in schools are so horrible. They take kids at a very vulnerable age and tell them that something that they may be passing through, possibly in response to abuse or some external factor, is a permanent state and that they are defined forever.

So apparently, unless you are a father without a penis, the law is on your side against the biological mother. If, on the other hand, you have a penis, you are subject to a full, final, and bankrupting obligation to the biological mother. Nice system we have here.

I take it that this stupid idiot judge wants to become a talk show host? That's what he'll be offered after every single reporter in the country is done interviewing him.

Were I the mother, I would so leave this country ASAP....

WOW! The insanity of the world is here. Its amazing how wrong is right and right is now wrong, you know its a shame that the people living the normal life have to put up with abnormal situations, and they want you to be ok with it. We the norm need to start pulling together for such cases as this and Miller, and make a stand for what we believe in, and have things go back to the way this country was built off of by the fore fathers. For sure G/L have been protesting to make a statement for them selves. Miller is righting a wrong, she's using the word mistake to its meaning, CORRECTING.

Dishwashers ARE a great way to get those stubborn deposits
out of the ring grooves! Actually my post is based on fact
also. I was at a party back when single (I didn't marry until age 46) and said something about putting a truck mudflap
in the bathtub so that I could wash a motorcycle engine
without harming the tub. A lady gave me “that look” and said
“you're a bachelor, aren't you?”
