But as far as I can tell he has never let his Mormon beliefs become an influence on policy.
So there are valid reasons not to want him as President, but this is not one of them.
Romney has a political problem: his Mormon religious faith

No, Romney’s “Mormon religious faith” would be a religious problem...
His political problems are as follows...
Lifelong pro-abortion
Abortion pushing platform
Pro same sex marriage
Pro “gay” rights
Gun grabber
Big government
Reagan hater
Republican hater
Illegal alien hiring
AMNESTY pusher
Man caused Global Warming
Trade with China
US military loathing
2 time draft dodger
Life long Liberal
voted Democrat
Supported and endorsed Democrats
Gave money to Planned Parenthood..
Appointed liberal judges
Thought he could buy the White House..
Not a team player..
etc
Politically the boy is toxic...
His bigger political problem is he's a mealy-mouthed, two-faced, two-bit lying liberal socialist/baby killing, gun-grabbing, constitution trampling RINO whore who fits better in Obama's evil Democrat party than the GOP.
Romney will be the GOP nominee over FR's dead body!!
Yeah, I know. That can be arranged.
Bring it on RINOS!!
DONT TREAD ON ME!!
Actually I always thought he was auditing for a job as a god.;)
Wow, that’s some list of keywords above?
While I would categorize mormon theology as unscriptural in several very important aspects (including those cited in your post), it does in many respects hold to Judeo-Christian teaching and principles. Pointing those theological differences out in this discussion only distracts from the issue of Romney and gives his defenders support for their claims that Romney's critics simply oppose him for his mormonism.
I don't care if he is mormom, unitarian, or even scientologist; if he supports Socialized Healthcare, expanding abortion rights, more restrictive gun control laws, more restrictions and regulations on business, and other anti-capitalist and anti-Liberty policies, then I oppose him for any GOP leadership position.
if a guy named Barack Obama can be elected why not a mormon

But Obama is a mormon...
His Mo0m was dead dunked in June, 2008...
The mormonsd believe in “families fvorever” and seasli9ngs (which happened to Obama )
So Obama is a mormon...
The 1st mormon president..
He was already a mormon when he was elected...
Since the mormons have had their turn...
Why not a Hindu next time ???
If so sign me up...
I could care less if he were a Wiccan.
His being a liberal Massachusetts Governor with Romneycare is enough for me to say no.I held my nose and votee for Mccain. If the republicans make me hold my nose again I will do it from home.
Mitt Romney has an unwavering faith in the maxim that there is a sucker born every minute who'll buy the stuff he's shoveling.
Now your post is constructive. The rest are just acting like little children.
Yeah, but niceties aside.. what do you REALLY think about Romney? ;-)
You are so right. He has never been a conservative and he will never get my support.

Probably shouldn’t be but it will.
Probably shouldn’t be but it will.
Bluh bluh bla! Bluh bluh bla bla bla!
Oh, it’s David Frum pontificating again. Bow down to God Romney, he is more perfect than any of you. Bluh bluh bla bla bla!
With gay marriage and RomneyCARE under my belt
and my failure as a governor, we can' push my record.
So lets continue to hide behind my religion.
Have everyone hit the phones today make all the promises you have to"
