Bob J Poll: Huckabee Supporters - Now that Huck is WillyHortonified, Will Your Vote go to Sarah?
11-30-09 | Bob J

Posted on 11/30/2009 2:30:18 PM PST by Bob J

I think it is a good Q. Huck was polling at least 8-10% of GOP voters, it's interesting to know whether those votes now go to the other evangelical Sarah, someone else or whether it puts Hucksters in the undecided column!

So many questions, so little time!

On this date November 30, 2009, who in their right mind would own up to being a Huckleberry?

Hell, I used to be a mitten - many moonbeams ago;)

" Idol worship is bad. Keep an open mind. "

I agree with no "idol worship".....But,at least, you have to allow an old man a few sexual fantasies....{:-)

also whast interesting is the media is targeting huckabee but not any other governors who have no doubt released criminals who recommit crime. I surpose killing 4 cops is a big issue

“Why would any politically sane person and/or a true Conservative vote for a presidential candidate that had a running mate who was not qualified to be President?”

This is so ironic because I was asking myself the same question about people who said they were voting for Palin but NOT McCain...who just happened to be on the top spot of the ticket.

Many Palinistas are at best inconsistent, at middling they are illogical and at worst they purposely delude themselves to provide a fig leaf to hide their inconsistency and illogic.

In all my days at FR I have never seen a more fanciful use of rationalization than the phrase “I didn't vote for McCain, I voted for Sarah”.

Uhhh, you voted for McCain and if you've actually convinced yourself you didn't then you are to far gone for any politician or political strategist to worry much about.

I love Cheney but he’s made it clear he’s not going to run. Your suggesting a father/daughter ticket with Dick/Liz has me thinking you are um, well, nuts.

From the other thread:
The Washington Post telephone poll of 804 Republicans and GOP-leaning independents was ...."

Any person who even wastes time discussing bogus polls like this needs a real hobby....I'll bet the Post rarely calls outside the 202 calling area on these "telephone" polls...

IAC, any Conservative would simply hang up the phone rather than contribute to a Post fraud....

Last, but not least, by definition a "GOP-leaning independent" could not have the slightest clue as to what any sort of "core" value is...

It seemed the media was trying to set him up to be the next GOP nomination sacrificial lamb.

There. :-}

In one of her interviews Sarah stated she “probably won’t run”. Has that deterred her supporters?

The question posed to me was WHO I would support. I’ve answered it but if it isn’t the one people wanted, too bad.

There is still plenty of time for someone to emerge as the Republican candidate.

I was gonna vote for her anyway - if she runs on the republican ticket.

3rd party is a loser imo. Whoever ends up as the republican would get 35% regardless.

Do you understand the difference between “I’m sorry Lynn” and I’m sorry, Lynn”...?

3. Palinista - Those who will crawl over broken glass to not only voter for her but also spike any negative facts and attack and destroy any critic with dares raise any ugly pot holes about a Palin candidacy. A truly unhealthy position.

Yikes! Haven't you considered the media thrashing she has taken and the need to defend her from same? The intermingling of fact and fiction?

I can't count the number of people I have come across who truly think Sarah said that she could see Russia from her front porch, when in fact Tina Fey said that.

Cut her defenders some slack, Bob.

BTW - Maybe you could explain your use of the phrase “Palin Patriot”?

"Palin's Patriots." Simply put, I think Sarah's supporters are patriots. Salt of the earth. Working families. Military families. People who love our country for it freedoms, not for its entitlements. People who pray and people who are proud to say God is part of their daily lives.

Sarah is a Common Sense Consevative. I like that. No need for fancy words or fancy, high brow education. I think we've seen quite enough of the Harvard, Ivy League types and hopefully a majority of American voters will come to the same conclusion.

I know she has room for improvement, but she knows that too and to date, she isn't running for any office.

I call her Sarah America. How does that sound to you? :)
