The effort to get same sex marriage on the California ballot in 2010 took a hit Monday. Rick Jacbos, the leader of the 700,000-member Courage Campaign just told us that after spending more than $200,000 on "qualitative research" into the issue in California that "We do not see a path to victory."
So, the Courage Campaign sent a note to its supporters Monday calling for "for more research and time to change hearts and minds before returning to the ballot." Lambda Legal, a LGBT legal organization, said largely the same thing Monday.
Jacobs told us that the research -- led by Obama confidante Steve Hildebrand -- found that "The biggest hangup people have is that right wing has done a very good job of telling people that somehow children will be affected" should same sex marriage become legal. It worked in both Maine and California, even though top public officials in both places said it would not.

Watch the homosexuals do the two step. With Defense of Marriage they went with the states’ rights argument. Now they can dump that and go for civil rights legislation, whatever it takes to push a radical, homosexual agenda onto a vast majority of people who don’t want it.

If you have ever expressed your disagreement with the homosexual lifestyle you have likely had someone respond: “How does what a person does in the privacy of his home hurt you”? Answer: When what is done in the privacy of one’s home is sanctioned by the government it creates a legitimization for that action or lifestyle that inevitably invades the homes of others through the media – newspapers, TV, movies, the internet – through the schools – requiring students, regardless of religious or moral beliefs, to take classes with the purpose of indoctrinating them with the State’s values – through the law – criminalizing thoughts, words, or actions (Hate Crime Laws) the State deems offensive or intolerant. Too many dissidents not listening to “top officials.” They’re worrying their gay heads off about that.
They can’t have their cake and eat it too. They can’t publicly play the clown then win the assent of those who do not wish to join a circus.
Probably because God didn’t make humans reproduce homosexually. Going against God is a tall order. No shame in losing that one.
How about threatening to burn a church down? Or threatening to stage a mass gay kiss-in in front a church?

They didn’t just threaten to do that, they did it at a church I know. They did a lot more, too. Like invasions, repeated vandalism, death threats, and firebombs! All documented.
I had one mass 3 weeks ago here in Hollywood at my parish where the parishioner was a guest “speaker’ at mass telling the story about his gay son during the Gospel..
Fine I thought, tell the story but dont lecture me.
She not only told the story but painted other people who didnt agree with that lifestyle as ‘un-Christian’ and painted Texans as bigots.
I just walked out and greeted a fellow smoker outside. I asked him about it and he said “yeah, she tells that homo story every year and the rest of the idiots inside will clap, just you watch”. They did afterwards.
My weekly donation I gave to the bum outside who thanked me incesantly because he claimed he hasnt eaten for 4 days.

Churchgoers at targeted churches should get in the habit of taking pocket-sized video cameras so they can record and publicize any disgraceful actions. Such footage can't shame the shameless, but it might open a few eyes.
The other part of their downfall in California was SF's may Gavin Newsome saying, "This door's wide open now. "It's going to happen, whether you like it or not."
Which means either that "top public officials" don't have kids and don't have a clue, or else they have kids but just don't give a flying flip.
New possibility here (hear me out):
Liberal groups incl. gov't. bureaucracies founded on liberal shibboleths (such as those instituted by Lyndon Bastard Johnson) make local pols dance for the money. They offer fungible, "this-can-all-go-away" marginal dollars for purposes the donors want funded, conditionally on the pols' performing as instructed (i.e. the pols are bribed, but we don't use that word because they're all fine fellows and their intentions are all the best).
So when the NGO's asked the pols before, about these SSM issues, the pols told them what they wanted to hear. It'll all be swell, do your thing, rock the house, party 'til you puke ...... did you bring the check?

It’s not “somehow children will be affected”, it’s “children will be affected”, as is now the case in Mass, where they use the gay marriage law to justify no opt-out for parents when it’s time for “Heather has Two Mommies”. It is fear based on facts and the gays made it VERY EASY for us.
