E-mails stolen from climate scientists show they stonewalled skeptics and discussed hiding data but the messages don't support claims that the science of global warming was faked, according to an exhaustive review by The Associated Press.
The 1,073 e-mails examined by the AP show that scientists harbored private doubts, however slight and fleeting, even as they told the world they were certain about climate change. However, the exchanges don't undercut the vast body of evidence showing the world is warming because of man-made greenhouse gas emissions.
The scientists were keenly aware of how their work would be viewed and used, and, just like politicians, went to great pains to shape their message. Sometimes, they sounded more like schoolyard taunts than scientific tenets.

E mails show fraud and pettiness.
Anyone who says there is no fraud, hasn’t seen the analyses of the computer programs.
I like how the AP didn’t even atttempt to “analyze” the numerous data files.
Yeah, if I used a “trick” to “hide the decline” I think I might have “private doubts” as well.
Sheesh.
A smoking gun, the glare of hate caught by the unblinking eye; and yet the mother screams “My boy wouldn't shoot nobody!”
“hide the decline”
What else is there to say?

Last week, California Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer called for criminal charges to be brought against the hackers who exposed the global warming hoax. During a meeting of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee responsible for cap-and-tax legislation, Boxer said, "You call it ClimateGate; I call it E-mail-theft-gate. This is a crime." She said she may or may not hold hearings on ClimateGate, but if she does her goal will be to punish the hackers. She doesn't care that the emails revealed that top scientists in the U.S. and England purposely manipulated data, and tried to squash dissenting views. But Boxer may have a tough road ahead. British newspapers now reveal the hacked emails were first published on a small computer server in a Siberian city where the Russian secret service has used hackers before. The speculation is, the Russians are trying to undermine the upcoming global warming environmental wacko summit in Copenhagen because as a major oil exporter, Russia has a lot to lose if cap-and-tax is adopted. I think it would be hilariously ironic if it turns out the Russians, with their repressive Communist history, were responsible for exposing the greatest hoax in modern science, fomented by the same western liberals who once adored the Soviets. But here's the big picture. It isn't the hackers, it's what they hacked. The global warming hoax is the real crime against humanity and liberals worldwide are the accomplices. Hell, they're the architects. |

DENIAL, REFUSAL, ARROGANCE but not stupid. They will now play the word game to convince you that this is a conspiracy to derail the saving of our world.
Only proves AP is a card carrying member of the Carbon Mafia. Not that we didn’t already know that.
Did the AP put as many folks on this as they did on Palin’s book?
This sentence is all the proof one needs that this whole Global Warming thing is a hoax.
It either is or isn't but it definitely isn't if their data didn't line up perfectly.
Well I guess they acted “stupidly”.
Just in: “Tiger’s communiques were but petty, misunderstood text messages.”
All the fraud is not in the emails, it’s in the codes.
Damage control, that’s all it is.
If one could bring back to life the great scientific minds of past generations whose names are now household words, they wouldn’t piss on our current “scientific community” if they were on fire.
Let's see, they tell you something is absolutely true even though they themselves weren't sure.
Yep, that's fraud.
I like how this news article is more concerned with arguing a point, than it is for reporting the news fairly.
