Democrats running scared for 2010 elections

It’s hard to believe that just 11 short months ago, the Republican Party was all but declared a non-entity for the next 50 years in American politics. Now it seems by all poll indications, the Republicans are back and they may make the 1994 off-year elections look tame compared to what may be in store in 2010.

The early scent of a future landslide defeat usually begins with the party’s own starting to withdraw as candidates.

Early reports show Reps. Dennis Moore of Kansas, John Tanner and Bart Gordon of Tennessee, Brian Baird of Washington and Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii (quitting to run for governor) retiring from the House. It might be noted that all come from districts beginning to lean toward the Republicans in growing numbers.

There are also Democrats that have chosen to stay and fight that are in serious danger of being ousted next year.

At the top of that group is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada. Not only is he behind in every state poll in Nevada, both his Republican challengers are ahead of him almost a year before the election. Senator Reid and House Majority Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) are the poster children of President Obama and his ever-growing unpopular domestic policies.

Every major national polling organization has found the Republicans growing a lead over their Democratic rivals of four points and growing by the month. The premature prediction that the Republicans were finished for years to come was just that; premature.

Democrat’s real problem is coming from Independents. They comprise approximately 19% of the electorate. Whereas Obama corralled most of their support in the 2008 election, his unpopular stances on health care reform and carbon taxes along with the almost invisible stimulus money is shifting a vast majority of those votes to...

That's the plan, Dwight!

Democrats running scared for 2010 elections

It sure as hell doesn’t seem like it! They keep passing more Communist Legislation.

It’s like they all have plans to have some kind of back door job once they get booted from Congress.

They should all be in prison!

These scum not only will be out of office, but their names will be synonymous with TREASON and TRAITORS. In the future, every time their family name is mentioned, the American people must associate them with Treason to their country. Benedict Arnolds of the future. May they all rot together for eternity.

It’s all theater, just like Ben Nelson’s “ethics”. If there IS an election in 2010, Amnesty will save them. Personally, I don’t believe they will even bother with the farce.

Frankly, I don’t think Republicans regaining control in the House or Senate (very unlikely) is even relevant any more. The Dems have won the debate and will get their health care bill and it will never be rolled back. It will, however, be expanded. I also don’t believe there’s the landslide coming that everyone now expects. As Rush has repeatedly said, the stimulus bill is nothing more than a monster slush fund which Dems will use to their advantage next year. If I sound pessimistic it’s because I am.

“If I sound pessimistic it’s because I am.”

Doesn’t sound pessimistic...it sounds wrong.

This data is a reflection of utter rejection of the Democrats, not of approval for Republicans.

I look for reasons to believe the GOP will do better than they did nine years ago, and see nothing.

What is pessimistic is that until the punk president is gone, we will not be able to reverse this crap. 2010 will just stop it.

The Dems are not running scared. If 2010 scared them, healthcare would be dead. They’ve heard the public doesn’t want it but they aren’t afraid to pass it. They know something that we don’t. Bet on it.

Rush is always right (according to him). If you think it sounds wrong you’re not listening because Rush has said essentially the smae thing.

I tend to agree with you.

Add in the ACORN & SEIU voter fraud (which will be even more massive), the future looks bleak....unless we take back America using ANY MEANS NECESSARY!

A major network commentator stated: “When a President’s poll numbers are this low in his first two years in office, his party usually loses 40+ seats in the House at mid-term elections”.

Ohaha has become very toxic. He is poisoning the chances of Dem candidates.

DO WE NEED FURTHER PROOF? 2009 gubernatorial elections in Va and NJ clipped the wings of Obama's plans for a permanent Democratic realignment. Winning Repub candidates in NJ and Va (the only two 2009 statewide races) won Independents by a 2-1 margin, (66%-33% and 60%-30%, respectively); McCain lost Independents in each state to Obama a year earlier.

====================================

Any fool can plainly see that Obama and endangered Dems are frantic----rushing to get govt billions into the hands of ACORN, SEIU, immigrant groups, and others, BEFORE the Nov 2010-12 elections.

Even stupid Dems know that, for them, it's curtains in 2010-12---unless massive voter fraud takes place. They need to buy votes, and are pulling out all the stops to get billions into the hands of their operatives---ACORN, SEIU, immigrant groups, and others.

=========================================

OBAMACARE UPDATE The US Senate may break their own rules-----and go against the will of the vast majority of US Citizens----to pass their health care bill.......by using the nuclear option.

Obama's healthcare gimmicks are legion:

(A) The first four years of ObamaCare is to amass $$billions. Period. Free govt healthcare does not kick in til 2013.

(B) Pushes much of the healthcare costs from the federal budget and onto the private sector by requiring individuals and employers to purchase health insurance....or pay a hefty fine or go to jail (only illegals are exempt from this provision).

(C) When the bills force somebody to pay $10,000 to the government, the Congressional Budget Office treats that as a tax.

(D) When the government hands that $10,000 to private insurers, the CBO counts that as government spending.

(E) But when the bills achieve the exact same outcome by forcing somebody to pay $10,000 directly to a private insurance company, it appears nowhere in the official CBO cost estimates — neither as federal revenues nor federal spending. That’s a sharp departure from how the CBO treated similar mandates in the Clinton health plan. And it hides maybe 60 percent of the legislation’s total costs.

The Obama Enron tricks have only one purpose: to accrue massive amounts of govt money into campaign accounts to elect/reelect Dems. That is the one and only reason to frantically push ObamaCare on a recalcitrant citizenry.

======================================

Obama already has huge slush funds:

(a) 80% of the trillion dollar stim is unspent and under his control, being hoarded for Dem campaigns.

(b) June 9, 2009 Obama announced, "Several financial institutions are set to pay back $68B to taxpayers." Taxpayers assumed that would be returned to the general funds from whence it had come .......in order to pay down the debt. The truth, however, is that the money returned is finding new life as part of what amounts to a Treasury Dept-controlled slush fund.
