Citadel Broadcasting to File for Bankruptcy

Citadel Broadcasting Corp., the third-largest radio broadcaster in the U.S., plans to file for bankruptcy as soon as Sunday, according to people familiar with the matter.

Citadel is expected to file in a deal supported by many lenders collectively owed $2 billion, known as a "prearranged" deal in bankruptcy parlance.

Citadel owns WNOX, WNML, WIVK, etc. in East Tennessee.

Citadel owns WNOX, WNML, WIVK, etc. in East Tennessee.

Not to mention WABC in New York City...Rush's flagship station and the blowtorch, WLS in Chicago.

WBAP in Dallas is on the list. I thought Citadel was owned by Disney. Is that right?

Disney spun it off. It’s been a seperarte entity for a couple of years now.

Now THIS would be an interesting investment for Rush Limbaugh -- much better than that football team.

Profit-making opportunity PLUS control of major media to tweak Obama and his minions. Interesting....
