FAIRFAX, Va. - As Erick Williamson sees it, being naked is liberating, and if passers-by get an eyeful while he's standing in front of a picture window, that's not his problem.
A Fairfax County judge saw it differently Friday, convicting Williamson, 29, of indecent exposure in a case that raised questions about what's OK when you're in your own home.
Two women said they saw much more of Williamson than they cared to in October, even though he never left his home. He received neither jail time nor a fine but is appealing anyway, saying a larger principle is at stake.

I read this story when he first arrested and I thought, what a waste of time, but as usual I am dumbfounded as to how our court system works...

Yeah what? The women objected to seeing this guys little thimble in the window. Sounds to me like he is no Tiger Woods!
If a man is observed by a women naked in his own home he gets charged with indecent exposure, if a women is naked in her own home and is observed by a man he gets charged as a peeping tom.

In some states/cities women can walk around nude and topless but someone inside their own home can be found guilty?

They were discussing this on Fox today and someone made precisely that point about the difference in how a woman or a man would be treated.
