There's a new weapon so smart it can pick off an enemy no matter where he's hiding. CNN's Rick Sanchez explains.

Awesome. Our guys can smoke a cigarette, aim anywhere and will still hit the muzzies. Now where was this concern from Sanchez when he hit-killed that pedestrian near Dolphins stadium while DRUNK?
Countdown to the “OMG why is the media giving away military secrets like this??!!1” post...
Glad you brought that up I see the NYT is reading FR lol maybe they will do a story about that.
Great....now security will double at the post...
I hate the press....
Is there a scheduled date yet to Los Alamos this technology over to China?
I’m glad to have it but I KNOW I didn’t need to KNOW about it.
What is this, a sales promo for Hillary to get the best price she can from the Chinese?
I no longer feel proud seeing this sort of weaponry anymore.
All I can think of, when I see this, is the juxtaposition of two facts:
1. The way the military is not allowed to vanquish a foreign enemy anymore, nor to really make full use of the weapons we already have, and;
2. The abandonment of the Posse Comitatus Act, coupled with demonizing propaganda, of the sort that is usually reserved for heinous enemies, being directed against patriots.
It creates, for me, mental pictures of all this armament, bought with our own hard earned money, being used against us if/when we resist their final push for tyranny.
Sorry, haven’t watched them since they were the Clinton News Network.
XM-25 — OLD news...
Correct.
Note that the round doesn’t home, and you still need a clear flight path for the round. Hence, you still have to move.
Also, from what I’ve seen on the Afghan war, 500 yards isn’t enough in the way of range. Too, that’d be forty five degrees or so of departure angle, so you’re not going to shoot over anything to hit a target behind a barrier.
Cute trick, but I did a study/design project on the 40mm years ago, so this isn’t anything like news.
Yes.
Me too.
CNN - we release “Secrets” that have been on the web, Discovery Channel and evrywhere for at least 4 years......
(rolls eyes)
Funny, didn’t mention battey life and cost per round.
No thanks, I know guys good enuf with bloop guns to get nearly the same effect...range is an issue for both.
