Friday: nothing. Saturday: nothing. Sunday: nothing.
The White House Web site has not been updated since Thursday, Christmas Eve.
Following the refusal of Barack Obama to personally address the Christmas Day terror attack on Northwest Airlines flight 253, the Obama administration has not posted one word about the attack at WhiteHouse.gov. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
It's like Obama can't be bothered. And really, he can't. Today he went to the gym, played basketball and had a picnic at the beach as part of his $4000 per day Hawaii vacation.
The White House leaked to reporters this evening that Obama will make some remarks on the terror attack, oh, in a couple of days:
"You will see him out there in the course of the next couple of days," the official said, adding that Obama will address the attempted attack on an airliner as it landed in Detroit on Christmas day. Washington Post
Well, that's mighty presidential of him.
Obama was celebrated by the media for his use of the Internet during his presidential campaign. Obama engaged his supporters with a steady stream of e-mail updates and video messages from his campaign. He promised that his supporters would be the first to know his pick for vice president, via text message and e-mail.
But when faced with a terror attack that came within a moment of murdering 289 innocents, Obama's Web savviness is gone.
Three days of silence by the commander-in-chief when our nation at war is attacked on the homefront. This is a failure of leadership by a man who thinks he is too cool to be president.
Like a Cheshire cat, he just sits there, smiling.
What else would one expect of an incompetent coward?
So, is he voting “absent” this time?
They don’t have anything of importance to say anyway. If he came of TV, I’d just turn him off anyway.
I’d like TOTUS to fire Napolitano for acting stupidly, then resign for same reason. Thank God the enemy failed in this attack.
He is so star struck with himself that if it isn’t about him, it isn’t important!
But...but...Climate Change...the children....sacrifice????
He can gain nothing from this story. To him it is no big deal. If anything it is a bother.
If he doesn’t say anything, it never happened.
I have been snowed in at my parent’s home for 5 days without the internet, with only cable TV and no paper (not that dead fishwrapper McClatchy matters), but dang, it’s good to be home.
IMHO, this is all smoke and mirrors implemented by the holy 0 to distract from the “healthcare” debate and make him look like some kind of leader, though I guess he muffed that.
Maybe I have my tinfoil on too tight, but I wouldn’t put it past them to create a distraction. Calling Rahm.....
The Yemeni national security chief has declared that the country is receiving assistance from the US in the crackdown on what he called 'al-Qaeda operatives' in southern Yemen.
Mohamed al-Anisi has told the Saudi Arabian newspaper Okaz that Yemeni forces were cooperating with the US military on attacks against al-Qaeda camps, DPA reported on Saturday.
Houthi fighters on Saturday declared that a US fighter jet had carried out multiple airstrikes on the home of a senior official in Yemen's northern province of Sa'ada.
In a statement released on Sunday, the fighters said that Saudi jets launched over 30 airstrikes on villages in the northern parts of the country.

Saudi forces have also fired some 660 rockets and artillery rounds at civilian areas along the border, websites close to the fighters reported.
The warplanes reportedly fired more than 700 missiles overnight on the northern villages along the border with the kingdom on Saturday.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the terrorists acts that have been attempted on the U.S. since 911 have occurred on Hussein Obama’s watch. Is my assumption correct?
