There's a video clip at the Newsweek site as well as another one or two articles about preparedness. The author presents a very balanced, pro-prepper view.

I am aware of many people following this same tactic since the mulim in chief has shown such a great love for his muzzie brothers in destroying this country and the poser in chief is ramming his socialist policies down our throats faster than we can swallow.

Interesting. I can’t get the Newsweek links to open — 10 tips. Probably the web site is busy.

As a Phoenician, believe me, I worry about a mass evacuation. The very, very few highways out of the city as well as the summer heat would guarantee hundreds of deaths.

She needs to upgrade her range time to shooting something with some authority. Other than that, she’s pretty smart.

It is OK about “preppers” but it sure isn’t nice to those before them.
“They call themselves ‘preppers.’ They are regular people with homes and families. But like the survivalists that came before them, they’re preparing for the worst.

Far from the stereotype of survivalists past, she owns no camouflage, and she doesn’t believe that 2012the final year of the Mayan calendarwill be the end of the world.

In the past, survivalists and conspiracy theorists might go out into the woods, live out of a bunker, waiting (or sometimes hoping) for the apocalypse to hit. It was men, mostly; many of them antigovernment, often portrayed by the media as radicals of the likes of Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.”
