A liberal blogger on the DUmpster forum today showed the pathological depths to which the far left has sunk in its hatred of America and reflexive support of those who would seek to harm us.
In a forum discussing whether the Christmas day Nigerian Islamic bomber should face a criminal or a military trial, a blogger wrote "He is not a terror suspect - He's a prisoner of an illegal war who should be released with all the rest. We should be the ones on trial."
When challenged by a fellow blogger if "he would say the same thing if the bomb had worked, and if 300 people had been killed??", the hateful anti-American blogger replied "Yes I would. We started this illegal war so we deserve to lose it. 300 dead barely compares to how many civilians the US have killed. "
There were a couple of other feeble challenges on the board to this statement, but the hateful blogger had the last word.
Clearly, thanks to a generation of public-school induced self-loathing compounded by political correctness and post-modernism, we now have a significant portion of the electorate which not only does not want the government to take strong measures to protect the homeland and deter attacks, but actually thinks we deserve such attacks, and is eagerly siding with the enemy, hoping for more potent and successful attacks, and more American casualties.
I think a bow is in order. /s
This blogger hates himself. Perhaps he would be happier in Iran?
What, exactly is an ‘illegal war’?
The worse of is that we support these people in one way or another: 'tolerance', belief in the notion that 'everyone deserves to be heard', dialogue and interaction are meaningful and other such nonsense.
These people are our enemies just as sure as Abdul and his brothers who want to blow our collective asses up. They should be treated as such.
probably from Berzerkely
The enemy within the gates is far more of a danger than the foe abroad.

For years I have been posting:
Marxism is our nation’s **most** serious and urgent threat. Government K-12 schools are the Marxists’ **most** powerful weapon.
But...Gee! Until very recently even our conservative talk show hosts rarely uttered the word “Marxism”. While they take pot shots at individual government school outrages, they almost never identify the government schools as being the Marxists’ most powerful weapon.

These must be the same folks who cheered at the attack on Pope Benedict last week.
They hate America and our values so much you wonder why they live here. Why not move to one of those caves with the scumbags they support.
Rabid dogs should be shot, rats should be trapped and dispatched, cockroaches should be stepped on or sprayed with poison. It’s a public health issue.
I visited DU once. I had to soak myself in laundry bleach and perform a “liberal,” amount of scrubbing with an elephant brush.
I don’t go to Du or Koskids, due to the neccesity of sterilizing my keyboard after a visit.
But has anyone ever said they received a visit from Feds after some of their Hate-America rantings?
Or does advocating the murder of 300 people by blowing up an airliner get a pass on the leftie sites.
Good point. All wars are illegal by someone’s definition.
I doubt seriously whether the writer speaks for a “significant portion of the electorate.”

Haven’t the Muslims hated the U.S. since the Barbary Pirate incident?
We started this illegal war so we deserve to lose it
I was not aware we were at war with Nigeria. When did that happen?
This guy sounds not unlike some of the Paulistas who spew their nonsense over here.
“Illegal war” is liberal-speak for “one day a global Marxist government will trump the US Constitution” and/or “the United Nations did not sanction it”
Liberals have taken to describing any US action not sanctioned by the UN as “illegal”.
