“It won’t be a revolt, it will be a collapse.”

I think you are probably right.

H1b visa holders can’t drive in snow & ice.

Personal, current experience.

Don’t know how to search accidents by car in snow, but I can tell you that during rush in metro areas & outlying approaches, it’s about every 100’

“And when we do revolt, the French revolution will seem tame by comparison.”

One would hope.

You lose all credibility if you can’t even get the word right. It is SECESSION, not SUCCESSION.

Wow and holy cow ... geeze, like I went to Bing and all that and put in secession and it came back with succession and all that ... I am so awfully glad you told me and how humble and embarrassed I am and all that how you should point that out and all that plus knowing full well what I was talking about but you decided to go ahead and show how smart you are and all that when most people would simply have written me a personal note ‘splaining that and all where I could have told you that you knew perfectly well what I was talking about and would have been really polite and all and told ME IN PRIVATE, but no, you had to go ahead and post your knowledge and learning for everyone here to know how smart and all you are (which I said already) ... I cannot believe my good fortune that you pointed that out to me. Well, more important things to do like watch Boise State vs Texas Christian .... hey, did I write that correctly or did I make a mistake that you'll have to post so I and everyone will know how truly smart and great you are in pointing out other peoples mistakes .....

Blame another FReeper, but I have to agree with you.

There will be no revolt.

The following was recommended reading to me, yes from another FReeper: Haves Without Have-Nots: Essays for the 21st Century on Democracy and Socialism (1991). Looking this up led me to something else I have found very interesting.

The Mass Psychology of Fascism, http://www.whale.to/b/reich.pdf

Page 25 discusses an idea regarding how:
He will not understand why the reactionary woman does not even want to listen to his economic program. The answer is the following: the suppression of the gratification of primitive material needs has a result different from that of the suppression of the gratification of the sexual
needs. The former incites rebellion. The latter, [26] however—by repressing the sexual needs and by becoming
anchored as moralistic defense—paralyzes the rebellion against either kind of suppression. More than that, the
inhibition of rebellion itself is unconscious. The conscious mind of the average unpolitical individual does not even show a trace of it.

I would submit the secular moralistic view of things like Climate Change, Health Care etc. inhibit what should have been the natural rebellion of a free people.

Dangerous reading ...maybe, but fascinating in it explains what they are trying to do to us.

Geez. Chill out. I was just pointing out to you that the proper word was SECESSION. I know what you meant, but those who would take issue with the content of your post (and I agree with your content, by the way) will use your misapplication to criticize your message. And by misnaming your subject you arguably lose the credibility to support it. My intent was to assist you, not ridicule you. Please take my comment in that vein.

He decides he earns too much money and subsequently donates a third of his salary to charity.

...to the dismay of the taxpayers still compelled to fork over that "third".

Commend in public, condem in private ....when I went to check on the spelling Bing came back with “Did You Mean ....” and thinking I had spelled it wrong went ahead and copied their spelling into my post.

I am not familiar with Bing, other than Crosby. If Bing is some on-line “dictionary,” then it surely must shoulder blame for the misapplied word.
