Absolutely right. I suspect that the long version lists his father as unknown but, as you said, that is just an minor embarassment. His mother was an American thus he is a natural born citizen wherever he was born. End of story. Nobody cares about arcane arguments about such things as British dual citizenship.

Anyone, including Glen Beck, who dismisses this issue as worthless, unimportant, a fool's errand, a joke or a waste of time has not read the definitive FR thread on the topic. All of you who show up to put down the people who think this issue has merit should take the time to go through it - all 10,000 plus posts. This thread makes it very clear that Obama and his people have gone to extreme lengths to create the "move on" attitude you and Glen Beck have. Maybe you don't mind being manipulated by those pukes or maybe you might wonder why they consider it so important to make sure you are.

zero's defenders and supporters have been very successful in deflecting the question of natural born into a birther question. They couldn't have done it without a compliant and often times ignorant press and populace.

I heard Beck's tirade today and was sorely disappointed. I'm not a hardcore birther, but what I want is for Zero to show the real certificate -- if he can. And I personally don't believe he can.

But to the point of the thread -- if Beck is going to wrap himself in the Constitution and insist on good governance from the criminals currently running our nation while laughing at the possibility that Obama has flouted that same Constitution to gain office, he's a fraud. And I say this as a loyal listener.

No, Beck doesn't regard focusing on missing documents worth the time. As usual, the proof is present for all to see, and ignore/ Obama told us he was born a dual-citizen. The Constitution requires that a president be a ‘natural born citizen.’ Chief Justice John Marshall explained, as did Waite and Story and Bingham, that a natural born citizen is “born in the country of parents who are its citizens.” Barack’s father was never a citizen. Perhaps that seems so simple as to be unbelievable.

In our courts we can offer habeas corpus rights to non-citizen terrorists, and an Army Captain who proclaims that his fellow soldiers are committing crimes against Allah is assigned the job counseling combat soldiers. If our founders were politically correct we wouldn't have a nation. They demanded that our commander in chief have no allegiances but to our nation and Constitution. The way they attempted to insure those qualities was to use both of the standard requirements used for millenia, require that he be born in this country, jus soli, and that his parents be citizens of this country, naturalized, native, or natural born - jus sanguinis. Obama is not qualified and he told us so - but we, many of you, won't listen. He said “I was born a subject of the British Coommonwealth”. You worry about his grades, or his passports, or his phony birth certificate. It's like a Monty Python sketch. He says to the porter, “I'd like an overhead bin for my bomb.” The porter says “You're not carrying any fresh fruit are you?”

Same here. I’m willing to entertain the idea that we don’t really know where he was born because of a lack of documentation, but I’m not willing to go out on a limb and point out a location on a map. The “He’s a Kenyan” talk has really hurt the issue. Without all that, we’d be left with just a President with no real reason for not providing all the documentation. The birthers have allowed themselves to become the target rather than keeping it on Obama. :9

Beck defined birthers as people who believe Obama was born in Kenya or other foreign country, was raised as a Manchurian candidate and somehow brainwashed Hillary Clinton into not exposing his fraud. According to Beck's running joke, birthers believe someone – maybe Obama's KGB "control" – preemptively placed Obama's birth announcement in 1961 Hawaiian newspapers with a "roadmap" of getting an African man into office.

Since Coulter, a frequent Fox guest, made fun of the BC issue, and now Beck, who has a Fox show, has done the same thing, my theory is that they were both told by some very well-placed Fox mucky-muck to lay off the issue and in fact denounce it if you likes your Fox gig.

So they did. I think it’s that simple. As to why Fox would put the cabosh on the issue, I don’t know. Feel free to speculate.

If this is not the reason that Coulter and Beck trashed and belittled the issue, then they are both unprincipled and cowardly pukes. If it is the reason, then obviously they can’t announce the real reason they did it, and I suppose their motive is understandable. After all, they both do us more good on the air than not on the air.

Because it's hearsay and not admissible. Keyes can claim the usurper said he was born in a Kenyan hut but if/when the usurper denies it, then it's kaput. Glen has been against Birthers for a while. He probably got a phone call on that. Comparing Birthers to Truthers is like apples and oranges. One has nothing to do with the other. Me, I'm a Constitutionalist. He didn't prove he was eligible and therefore he is a usurper until he brings forth that proof. FREE THE LONG FORM, the kindergarten enrollment, the college records, scholarships, and any and all passports.
