If Hillary had disqualified Obama, many of Obama's supporters may have sat out the 2008 election out of spite.
Then, after the primaries and up until the convention, Hillary thought that she would be Obama's veep, and have an inroad.
I don't get it...you're a "birther" if you want obama to produce his BC? Many of us have to show it simply to renew a driver's license (to prove you're not an illegal alien) and obama doesn't have to show his? What makes obama so special?
The birther issue is simply that obama produce some official paperwork rather than a newspaper clipping. Why did obama hide his paper trail behind lawyers? Sorry, novels he may or may not have written about his past aren't the same. Perhaps Beck could ask obvious questions, like why doesn't obama man up like the republican presidents usually do and show the paper trail, and see where the answers take him?
We usually watch his show, but in all honesty if I had my druthers, I'd rather make sure I didn't miss Neil Cavuto. Maybe it's just me, but lately all of Beck's shows seem repetitious. He says in a few days that will change - we'll see.
I had the AM radio on the other night and caught Savage while cleaning up dinner dishes, He was deriding Rush for not being on the air after being pronounced healthy. I thought it odd for Savage to go after Rush like that when he doesn't know what the medical problem was. Hospitals typically do not admit people if they are not sick or there is no cause for concern.
Long ago I learned the ego of DJs and talk show hosts exceed their true importance to most of us. Famous people in 95% of instances IMHO are overrated. As long as they present opinion (product) that educates or makes us question what we do know, they are worth our time. Much of what many of them use for show material is redundant of what we've already seen on Drudge Report, Free Republic or other conservative and foreign news sources.
All of our Senators signed a resolution claiming the John McCain was a natural born citizen because his parents, both of them, were citizens, even while he was born in Colon Panama (and not in the Canal Zone). They know the truth but understand that many or most of their constituents would consider denying anyone an office because of his parent's nationality discrimination. It is. It is like the profiling we may come to accept after losing an airplane or two. Our founders wanted to discriminate elements destructive to our principles and prevent them from holding the most powerful office in our nation.
The effort made to combat the BC issue or better stated, background/eligibility issue by BO and his team was immense. So many resources with various bits and pieces of his background that were on the web are gone - scrubbed. Pelosi signed that extra piece of paper for BO’s eligibility to submit to Hawaii. I could go on and on. If it is a trap, someone should tell his people. Oh, and they wouldn’t have had to shoot that guy in the head over the passport office break-in either.
Mr. Beck, a challenge to you, sir.
Please assemble all of the publicly available documentation and build a legal case that Barak Obama is a legal US Citizen.
Get back to me when you are ready to make the case.

When Beck can show us the “long form birth certificate” (same form as the Nordyke twins), and show us the plaque that the National Park Service has put up at the 44th President’s place of birth, and explain a million plus dollars in legal fees, and explain Nancy Pelosi signing two different documents with differing “natural born status” wording for Hawaii, and explain why Obama’s passport file was broken into, and explain why his kindergarten records which would have a birth certificate are missing, and explain why his selective service records are fraudulent, and explain why there are no adoption papers regarding his Indonesian stepfather, why his dual citizenship (British, Indonesian) makes him ineligible, then he can call us crazy.
Beck is one of the first people who would be all over this if he thought there was a substantive case he could trumpet. He simply sees what everyone else sees: the state of Hawaii claims Obama as one of their; to the extent there is an actual documented record, it syncs up with being born in Hawaii; and the Hawaiian government, headed by a Republican governor, isn't disputing that record.
And as far as the two parent NBC thing goes, he sees the obvious as well. Everyone knew Obama didn't have a citizen father. Hillary Clinton and John McCain knew that and didn't press it. Dick Cheney knew that when he completed the electoral vote process sealing the election results. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court knew that when he swore Obama in. Outside of this feverish little birther clique, no one reads the precedents like you do and NBC = “born here” is pretty much a given. No court in this country is ever going to overturn a Presidential election based on a sudden new interpretation of common understanding when the associated facts were a matter of record before the election. And that doesn't mean they are corrupt. It means they honestly consider it a non-issue no matter how much it sticks in your craw.
This is the dumbest thing ever. It's got zero, absolute zero, chance of ever going anywhere. If you want to see his long form, work to pass laws at the state level for certification next time around. I think you'll be disappointed when you see it, but that would at least be a sane effort conforming to accepted legal process.
I agree with Beck...this thing is going no where. I do believe there is something embarrassing to Obama in his birth records which is why he’s paid millions to keep them under wraps...thats about as far as it goes.
Ok, tell ya what. Since you are both tired and old, you can sit on the sidelines. Those of us who aren’t tired may even have the energy to pursue additional ways to stop the usurper and his commie helpers from totally ruining the country.
Ignoring constitutional eligibility issues is what is dumb. Just look what it got us. It ain’t lurking around in the shadows, either.
Darn it! Now I'm going to have to agree with him. Can't stand Beck on TV, though I liked him when I first heard his radio show some years back, but then he went to the evangelistic preacher style which really rubs me the wrong way.
No matter where he was born his father was a British subject at the time of his birth which means that he has dual citizenship. A natural born citizen cannot have dual citizenship. It’s all about loyalty. Our founders gave us protection against those with loyalty to another country. Obama is actually a perfect case study in what they were protecting us from providing we don’t waste their wisdom and the law that they deemed was best for our Country.

I wish it were true, but it's not. And conservatism is supposed to be about dealing with actual reality, the cards dealt to us, whether we like them or not. That's what Beck is saying.

It’s much more likely to go the other way; I and many others on FR will refuse to vote for anybody who spits on the Constitution. Voting either Democrat or Republican is voting for a candidate that hates America and its Constitution. Precious few Republicans have dared stand up to Zero.
