Question: What to do with Obama's Peace Prize?
Jan 8, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 01/08/2010 9:13:32 AM PST by Jim Robinson

Excuse me it it's already been resolved, but now that Obama has unilaterally declared GLOBAL WAR against Islamic extremism, does he have to return his Peace Prize?

Followup question: Now that Obama has moved the country to an all out war footing, do the captured enemy combatants still get taxpayer funded lawyers, comfy cells with cable TV and complimentary high speed Internet access, and full constitutional rights? Should they be eligible to vote?

Obama answer to question #1: Hell no!

Obama answer to question #2: Yes. They are my ideological fellow travelers.

Just because Obama declared an all out war on terrorism doesn’t mean he’ll follow through. The only time the man told the truth was to Joe the Plumber.

Well...when I first saw your headline, Mr. R., I thought more along ‘crafty’ lines.

I envision the NPP rigged with Svarski crystals; on huge gold chain; with Barry sporting a matching grill, at a Super Bowl party (or State Dinner).

But that’s just me...

(Like Barry Bonds’ HR record...Bammie’s Peice Prize should historically carry an asterisk).

I know what I’d like to tell Obama to do with his Peace Prize, but I’m reasonably certain it would get me banned.

Speaking of that peace prize, did Obama ever decide who/what he would donate the money to?

Obamma was for peace before he was against it so the question of returning his peace(pipe)prize is not relevant(unless of course we were talking about Pres.Bush in which case congress would be demanding he return the prize along with the cash+interest).
As to the treatment of prisoners, it's the Chicago way(didn't you see Goodfella’s?)

Should they be eligible to vote?

According to the seditious 9th Circus Court of Banana Peels, if they were in Washington State, then yes.

Maybe he could donate it to a needy community organizer in Chicago.

He's probably going buy carbon offsets with it so he can heat his mansion in Chicago this winter guilt-free.

It’s easy, just say what you are thinking. Like “Stuff it where the sun don’t shine.”

Obama and his buttboys will never perceive any contradiction or ‘cognitive dissonance’ in any of this.
His rootin’-tootin’ new Commander-in-Chief posture, if its not a TOTAL pose, will be VERY hard for him to sustain over time-——it will further resolve his former potential
Islamic friends and allies to step up the pressure and threats against this homeland Obama is very good at pretending to want to defend. IF, and it is a tentative IF, this Administration winds up doing a decent job at keeping terrorist threats at bay just to save its skin politically, for a period of time, there will STILL be a big price to pay. The Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR will form a Unholy Trinity of “Good Cops” along with Obama, and in a sickening trade-off, they will be given carte blanche to extend their influence, and step up their demands to be political players in American Life. I KNOW THIS. There HAS to be a trade-off in this area, otherwise the New President just looks more and more like the Old President, and that will rankle a huge part of the Leftwing rank-and-file. More than anything though, Obama’s new Bush-like pose is supposed to make it easier for the Dems to push and push and push the Domestic Agenda. Obama and his coterie realize it’s time to forge a newer, buffed-up image and identity for their Messiah, and this is the tactic they’ve hit upon. Obambi is TRULY caught on the horns of this above-described dilemma, and I for one am “getting out the popcorn”-—to mix metaphors , it’s going to be a real juggling act that will be fascinating to watch.
